Recommended for guests to bring their own front-facing infant seats. Limited child seats are available at an additional charge on request.

Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.
This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.
The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Lake McKenzie
Enjoy a revitalising swim in the crystal blue waters and relax on the sandy white beaches… it’s picture perfect!
Seventy-Five Mile Beach
As you drive along this sandy highway, you may spot birds of prey flying above or humpback whales as they migrate past (between July – November). You may wish to join the Air Fraser team for a scenic flight over the island - book with your guide on tour (optional extra).

5.00Nicole’s husband (Keith) was an amazing tour guide! Taught me so much about the island, had a great vibe and played some great music! 1010 experience would go again.

5.00On Thursday 9th April I visited K’Gari Island through K’Gari Explorer Tours on a day trip with the tour guide Keith. I went with two of my best friends and we all had an amazing day. The island was absolutely beautiful, with plenty of activities and sights to do and see. The entire day was very well organised and completely stress free from pick up to drop off! I want to attribute much of this praise to our tour guide Keith! Keith really made the day a wonderful experience, he was so friendly, genuine and passionate about K’Gari Island and all it has to offer. The buffet lunch included in the day tour package was very good quality and tasty, with lots to choose from. I highly recommend this trip to K’Gari Island and our tour guide Keith! 5.00We did a day trip and had such a great time! Even though we only had one day, we learned so much about the island’s unique nature and history, which made it really special. Our guide, Keith, was amazing—super friendly, knowledgeable, and even came back to pick us up when we were running late, which we really appreciated. The 4WD bus ride was so much fun and faster that the other cars, and the whole day was well organised with great food included. I’d definitely recommend this trip, especially if you’re short on time. If you can, though, a 2-day tour would be even better. Thanks Keith for such a memorable day and for some good tunes 🎶

5.00We had an awesome day with our guide Keith, probably one of the funniest people around. He made sure we felt welcome, shared background information, stories about his encounters on the island and even some Aussie tunes he thought we should know. Expect some real offroad action with the bus. Overall a 10/10 experience! Only downside: now that we know Lake McKenzie, all other lakes will be less impressive... We booked a flight as well, to see all the beauty K'Gari has to offer.
