It‘s a full day trip with mainly driving through the rain forest and a few stops which aren‘t very long - the lake was one hour though which was the longest. The buffet lunch I certainly cant recommend. It was ok to get a glimpse of K‘Gari. However, for 300AUD I wouldn‘t do this again.

Very well organized tour, our guide Dean has been able to tell us an incredible amount about the island in a funny way! At the same time we had enough time to watch the spots ourselves in peace and go swimming.

We took the family on a K’gari tour. We’d done it 20 odd years ago before kids and wanted to share the experience with them. It was incredible the first time, so it’s hard to believe it could be better this time but it actually was. Thank you Keith, you made the trip with your commentary and excellent Aussie playlist. Just loved it! Cheers

We had a great day in K’gari. Bus was on time at our pick up, driver explained what to expect during the day. Ferry ride to and from was good. Very organised and informative day. Excellent buffet lunch. Highlight was doing scenic flight, bus stopped on 75 mile beach near a small plane, pilot got on board and offered limited number, I think 6 people the option to do 15mins flight for $120. We jumped at the chance and weren’t disappointed. Floating down Eli Creek was good too. Overall a great day, thoroughly recommend for people who don’t have time to self drive and stay overnight or for a few days.

We recently did a 1-day tour of K’gari (Fraser Island) with K'gari Explorer Tours, and I m recommend it totally forgot all —specifically because of our guide, Dean. From the moment we started, Dean’s energy was infectious. He is super enthusiastic about his job and clearly knows the island like the back of his hand. He gave us a fantastic, detailed look into the island’s flora and fauna, making the history and ecology of the place actually come alive. A few things that really stood out: Humor: Dean is totally hilarious. He kept the entire group entertained with his wit, making the long drives between spots fly by. Driving Skills: It’s honestly impressive to watch him work. He is incredibly adept at navigating that huge 4WD bus through the sandy, rugged terrain, all while never missing a beat with his commentary and explanations. Expertise: No question was too small or too technical for him. He answered everything we asked with genuine interest and deep knowledge. If you are planning a trip to K'gari, this tour is a must. If you’re lucky enough to get Dean as your guide, you’re in for the best experience possible. Highly recommended!
