Recommended for guests to bring their own front-facing infant seats. Limited child seats are available at an additional charge on request.

Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.

This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.

The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

This is place you must visit if you go to Hervey bay. Nice views and the plane ride was a good experience .

Everything was great! The bus ride was a highlight, the guide was super friendly and informative. We could even see some wildlife, which of course put the crown on the whole tour! Thank you again.

Super fun exploration of the island in the large 4-wheel drive bus. The ride was a little bumpy but the sights were amazing. We opted for the plane ride from the beach and that was well worth it ($100 AD). The lazy river float was short but nice. The lunch buffet at the east side resort was good for a buffet. The hike in the rainforest was easy and the lake swim was nice. The overall pace of the day was just right. We all loved the experience - you will too.

This tour is especially suitable to travelers without high-clearance 4WD vehicles. The 4WD tall bus is great! Learning the geology formation of the great sand body while rolling over it in a AC bus is a very enjoyable experience. Not much hiking, no need to wear hiking boots, simple hiking shoes or even flipflops are fine.

We saw all that was advertised which was great as the driver wasn't sure at the outset. Comfortable coach and a really interesting-but long day. Andrew Smith our driver and guide was great-knowledgeable and friendly.
