Did the 2 - Day, 1 - Night Experience with my Wife out of Hervey Bay. What an awesome way to experience a bucket list Destination. The Compay was flawless from pick-up at our Caravan Park accomodation to Drop-Off. The highlights of swimming in pure fresh water lakes, Exploring a shipwreck, Driving the 75mile Beach Highway and seeing trees 1000 Years old was just breath taking. A Big Thank You to Jean our Driver/Guide/Caterer/Bus Cleaner/Planner, a very passionate advocate for the Island and all it has to offer. He is a credit to his profession and a True Asset to KGari Explorer Tours. 11/10

Amazing experience! Saw all the cool sights and learned a lot about the history of K’Gari and the aboriginal people. Hotel was amazing but had no wifi. Shoutout Keith for being the best tour guide ever.

Enjoyed the tour very much. Dean our driver/guide was very friendly, helpful and professional. He gave us lots of interesting information about the history of the island as well as the flora and fauna. All of the places we went to & the activities we did were very enjoyable.

Even though we are locals to the area we found the tour to be well worth it. We got to see most of the iconic locations and learnt so much more about the islands ecosystem and history. Dean was an amazing guide. He was very friendly and kept everyone engaged and entertained while manoeuvring the large 4wd bus through some pretty tricky terrain. He even had some pretty funny dad jokes I must admit. Kingfisher Bay Resort was very nice, the buffet breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were pleasant. The K'gari beach resort at Eurong is less fancy but everything you need. You don't spend too much time there anyway. Overall, I think it is well worth the price you pay when you consider everything that is included and I would highly recommend this tour to anybody that is thinking about visiting the island.

The tour itself was awesome. You get to see multiple beautiful sites across the island in such a short time. Our driver and host, Dean, shared his passion for the island and everything in it with great enthusiasm. That was just the little extra that made this tour near perfect. The ride itself will get bumpy but that’s just the island itself. 10/10 would do again!

We had a fantastic weekend on K’Gari with Explorer Tour and our guide Taylah. The island is absolutely stunning, and there was plenty to do. It was very well organised – comprehensive yet relaxed. Taylah expertly guided us along the sandy tracks and along 75 Mile Beach. Hats off to her!

We did the 2 day K’Gari tour with Taylah as our guide and we can’t recommend it highly enough. The island really is as beautiful as you see in the photos and we are so glad we were able to experience it firsthand. Taylah handled the large 4WD bus expertly and was a fantastic guide.

This trip was absolutely worth it! Our tour guide Taylah did a fantastic job, both driving us around safely and comfortably, and giving us insights into the history and nature of this breathtaking island. We'd definitely recommend the two-day tour, as it gives you enough time for each activity. The Kingfisher Bay Resort offers a great variety of activities (tennis, pool, spa) and good food, too (we particularly liked the breakfast). Its sister hotel on the other side, K'gari Beach Resort, is a bit older, but offers spacious rooms (no a/c!) and also surprisingly good food.
