K'GARI 2-DAY TOUR - From 1st June 2021, this new tour represents the BEST VALUE experience on Fraser Island in 2021! Focused on increased guest comfort, tours include small group experiences (maximum 30 guests) and upgraded accommodation to Standard Hotel Rooms at K'gari Beach Resort. PLUS uncover hidden gems such as Hammertone Sandblow, Lake Wabby and the Champagne Pools.

Audio guides and scripts are available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Chinese via the K'gari Explorer Tours App.
Your accommodation will require a credit card pre-authorisation of AU$100 per day plus AU$200 refundable bond to a maximum of AU$500. In the event that no credit card is available, full payment and a bond deposit of AU$100 per day to a maximum of AU$500 is required.
Recommended for guests to bring their own front-facing infant seats. Limited child seats are available at an additional charge on request.
Please note we do not carry children under the age of 1 and no refund will be given.
Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.
This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.
The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

If you cancel at least 3 full day(s) before the scheduled departure time, you will receive a full refund.<br>If you cancel within 3 day(s) of the scheduled departure, you will receive a 0% refund.

Enjoy a revitalising swim in the fresh, crystal blue water and relax on the sandy white beaches of this picture perfect perched dune lake.

Tour the sandy highway – the ‘spine of Fraser Island’, running from Hook Point to Great Sandy Cape. During this journey, take an extra opportunity to join the Air Fraser team for a scenic flight over the island.
Eli Creek
Relax on the sandy banks, wade through the invigorating shallow waters or drift downstream – the fastest flowing creek on the island is sure to revitalise your mind, body and soul.
Maheno Ship Wreck
Learn the intriguing history of this once proud passenger liner that was washed ashore in 1935 during an out-of-season cyclone. While you’re at it, take the chance to stretch your legs and take a holiday snap with this rusting wreck.
K'gari (Fraser Island)
The Pinnacles Coloured Sands - one of Fraser’s more magical locations, you will hear the Dreamtime story of how these rainbow coloured cliffs came to be.
Indian Head
Cruise past the most easterly point of the island, which is home to marine life such as turtles and rays, often spotted in the waters around the base of this rocky headland

5.00Great job Andrew! Our recent 2 day tour was truly fantastic. We learned so much about K'gari and visited amazing places (paticularly enjoyed floating down Eli Creek!). We saw many dingoes whilst driving along the beach and Andrew pointed out the various flora and fauna of the island as we moved around the island. Don't need to be super fit, just bring comfortable walking shoes. About 10 or so in our group so easily manageable. The perfect weather also helped. Would definitely recommend.

5.00Wow - what an experience! We did the 2 day, 1 night tour and every moment was amazing! We were picked up by the guide in the morning and taken over to K’gari for a full day of exploring. Lunch on day 1 was a buffet at the resort and there was lots of options available and it was all delicious! After more exploring we checked into the resort - the room was absolutely lovely! Day 2 was just as good exploring more of the island with our guide. We got to see some amazing sights that aren’t accessible on the single day tour! Overall it was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

5.00Pete is a CHAMPION!!! The tour was awesome but Pete added an extra level of depth and information about the island that made it extra special for us. We did a three day/two night tour and the first night at King Fisher was really nice with several dining options and relaxing pools. The second night was at the Eurong (?SP) Resort and was not as nice. There was no air conditioning in the rooms, the food options were limited but good, but it served the purpose of a place to sleep on the east side of the island. If you have the opportunity to select your guide, we can recommend Pete enough!!! Thanks mate!!!!

5.00An absolute must if you are visiting rainbow beach, make sure to book this trip well in advance so your not left disappointed. Me and my fiance loved the trip and the day was made 10x better with our tour guide Pete who was helpful and funny the whole day

5.00The 2-day tour on K‘gari was a unique experience. Our tour guide Jean showed us the most beautiful places on the sandy island during two days. Jean cared deeply that all participants were doing well, and we had enough time at the corresponding highlights. Even after the actual “tour end” in the evening, you could marvel at the wonderful starry sky together with Jean on the beach. In short: It was just fantastic. Thanks again Jean - thanks to you the tour was great!

5.00An excellent tour. kgari island is wonderful and a must see in Australia. Both Keith and Jeon really enhanced the experience with information about Kgari including the island, it's history, fauna and wildlife. Would have been a way less enjoyable tour without them. Would definitely recommend the 2 day tour to see more of the island !
