What To Expect
A day trip from Khao Lak offering you to get closer to the oldest rainforest “Khao Sok National Park”. Discover the rich rainforest, stunning limestone mountain views from the bamboo raft trip along the “Sok River”. 07:10 Pick up from your hotel in Khao Lak, head to Khao Sok National park. Arrive to the national park headquarters. Set off jungle walking along the trail. Our guide will help you get acquainted with flora & fauna. Walk up at the stream where you can swim in crystal clear water. This trail you can expect to see wild monkeys, langurs and some reptiles. Enjoy the sound of the jungle before walking back. Have delicious Thai lunch at a local restaurant. 14:00 In the afternoon, we go for canoeing at the Sok River. Marvel Khao Sok's stunning landscape along the canal on bamboo raft trip, rowed by our crews. Sit back and enjoy the surroundings. Once arrive to river back the staff boil the water on openfire to make jungle coffee served in bamboo cup. Head to Khao Sok View Point to see the bird eye view of lush forest 16:00 Arrive to Khao Lak

5.00Amazing experience that was timed perfectly. Got to explore some of the jungle with a short hike and then made our way to the river for bamboo rafting which was a treat with the delicious coffee they provided. 10/10 experience!

5.00The whole experience was otherworldly!! Our guide Ron was simply amazing!! He calmly explained everything clearly and made sure everyone understood what was going on. The whole group had so much fun in every step of the activity. I personally (as an 18 year old) felt very well taken care of and completely safe. The driver was also great, he was always cracking jokes. Also the food was superb. I had so much fun and we saw so many different species of animals. Highly recommended!!

5.00Tamnang Waterfall&Little Amazon We had a wonderful tour with our guide GayDay. You can immediately feel how much she loves her country and nature. We were the first ones at the magnificent waterfall and were able to swim there undisturbed – a real highlight. At the Little Amazon we were accompanied by young boys as boatmasters who pointed out everything interesting to us. Especially beautiful: They even took into account my fear of snakes and made me feel safe at all times. Gay and Boboo cared for us lovingly, and Gay told our group of eight with different nationalities a lot of exciting things about the lives of Thai families. An all-round successful, authentic and heartfelt tour – I can highly recommend! 🌿🌊

5.00Having looked carefully at reviews for visiting Khao Sok, we are very happy we chose this tour operator. We were picked up from the hotel and stopped to pick up our Guide, Ron, on the way to the National Park. On arrival, we were led through the rainforest to the waterfall, spotting lizards snakes, spiders, and on the return journey via a different route, a few monkeys in the trees. Once at the waterfall, there was time for a very welcome dip. Lunch was provided at a local restaurant. Then it was onto a nearby spot for bamboo rafting and coffee, prepared in bamboo mugs. One more stop on the way home for the Snoopy Dog viewpoint 🤣. Overall, an enjoyable opportunity way to view this locally protected area. Ron was very knowledgeable, pointing out wildlife we’d never have spotted for ourselves. Ron took care of us, providing water and snacks throughout the day. A great experience. This may be stating the obvious but it was an experience where good footwear was essential; it was uneven and slippery underfoot on occasion. Insect repellent also advised!

5.00We took a trip with the Khao Lak Planner company to Khao Sok Reserve to trek in the jungle. We had a great guide named Gae, who was stunning, professional, smiling and full of energy. We trekked in the jungle while Gae showed us a snake on the tree, lizards that camouflage themselves all over the tree, and shy macaque monkeys on the tree. I highly recommend the trip.

4.00After extensive contact and advice booked a two-day tour with Khaolak Planner. This was the first day (Kha Sok). We had a nice driver and guide. Beautiful trip (about 6 km) through Kha Sok National Park where we have seen quite a bit of wildlife. After the trip enjoyed a delicious lunch and then off to bamboo rafting. This was a pretty short trip. The traditional coffee (bamboo cup) making took longer than rafting. Still, we had a nice day. Then to the accommodation for an overnight stay at the Rock and Treehouse resort. That was disappointing. Maybe it's fun for parents with kids, but for couples it's nothing. It's dark and very dated. Then there are bound to be nicer accommodations in Khao Sok.

5.00We loved the day with our your guide Gay! She was very friendly, kind, and funny, the kids fell in love with Gay! The trail was perfect, we saw lots of animals, including various kinds of monkeys, spiders, and bats. Swimming at the waterfall was very refreshing. The lunch - the variety of food and the quality of food - was excellent!! There were vegan, vegetarian, and chicken options - all of these Thai dishes were delicious! Then we went to float down the river on a bamboo raft. This was very peaceful. In the middle of it was a coffee break. They boiled water inside bamboo pipes and served in bamboo cups that we got as souvenirs! We highly recommend this tour, the company, and our guide, Gay!
