  The longer Dhaufahrt tour I can only recommend to everyone. At the beginning of the tour, my wife said 6 hours was way too long. Afterwards she liked it so much that the longer tour was the better decision. We were about 20 holidaymakers on board. The entrepreneur tried very hard. Time and again he provided us with fruit mineral water, 7Up, Coke, coffee, tea etc. Lunch was typical local and tasted good. We made 2 bathing stops with clear water and lots of colorful fish. If you wanted you could climb 450 Sitegen of a 200 meter hill that separates the Arabian Sea from the Omani Sea. Other ships that also anchored next to us were crowded with many people. We can only recommend this excursion from Khasab. Pick up from the ship and drive to the port worked out excellently. With this inexpensive booking you can do no wrong.   The pickup service worked great. All staff were very friendly. The food on board was delicious and extensive. We were provided with drinks of all kinds. The only downside was: at the same time as us a cruise ship was docked and they could book the excursion with or without "hiking". At Getyourguide there was no such choice, we simply had the full day tour. Unfortunately, this meant that we were not allowed to land at one point and were not allowed to walk up stairs to a mountain on our own, instead we had to wait on board the Dhau.

  We had a really wonderful day pottering around the area. The captain and steward were brilliant – so friendly and full of interesting insights about the local people and their way of life. Lunch was excellent, with plenty of rice, chicken, salad, dal, and fresh fish. We were also offered plenty of drinks and fruit throughout the day, which was a lovely touch. After swimming in the beautiful waters, we were even given fresh towels – such thoughtful hospitality. All in all, a fantastic experience that I would definitely recommend! 🤗

• Full Day Dhow Cruise and Transport from Dubai

  We had booked a full-day dhow cruise with this provider as well as transport from Dubai to Khasab and back. The prior contact via email and WhatsApp was prompt. The driver Ahmed was on site on time and extremely friendly. On the way he told us some information about the country and life. Crossing the border was very easy. The dhow cruise was great. There were only 7 guests on the boat, so there was plenty of space. We saw dolphins numerous times which swam with the boat, a really cool and unique experience. The map showed information about the trip and the names of the individual villages. Further background information was missing. The tour overall was great. Two swimming stops, enough drinks and fruit, and the lunch was also delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

• Brilliant 6 hr trip from cruise ship dolphin watching, swimming and snorkelling in Khasab fjords

  Brilliant 6 hr trip to dolphin watch, swim and snorkel off a dhow through the beautiful fjords of Khasab. We were picked up on time from cruise port with our names on a card held by Dolphin Tour staff and dropped back at cruise port on time so no panic about missing ship! Dhow was great - lovely helpful crew and not crowded. Facilities onboard included nice clean toilet with sink, fresh water hose/shower for rinsing off after swim and towels. We brought our own snorkels as they aren’t provided. We had an excellent lunch onboard and were given a plentiful supply of soft drinks, water and fresh fruit. We saw lots of colourful fish and had two opportunities to swim and snorkel. We also saw and followed lots of dolphins on several occasions and got some excellent photos/video shots. I did this trip with my son and we thoroughly recommend this trip - definitely the highlight of our week’s cruise.

  We were in the Orient with the Mein Schiff 2 and decided to stop in Khasab for the full-day dhow trip. The contact during the booking process was super easy and the information that the Mein Schiff 2 is too big to go straight into the harbor and we need tenders was great. There were about 11 of us on the dhow, so we had enough space. We were given a small map beforehand showing exactly where the trip was going and there were also brief explanations in English at the individual stations. We had two swimming stops and the food was also top notch. The absolute highlight was that we were able to see dolphins several times. For us, it was a great and worthwhile trip.

  Best tour in Musandam to watch Dolphins. From initial contact to timeliness of pick up everything is very well organized. We were the only ones in the big boat but they did not cancel. We were treated like a royalty and dolphins made our day a memorable one. Food was basic but adequate.
