What To Expect
Khor Virap
Many people know that Armenia is the first Christian country in the world. It was officially accepted in 301 when Grigor was released from the capital's prison, which was here before. He was imprisoned here for 13 years for his Christian faith. Being the last hope of the sick king, he cured him, after which the king accepted Christianity as the state religion. At the same time, the best view of Mount Ararat opens from here. Being very close to Ararat gives you the opportunity to see the entire structure of the mountain and admire its beauty.
Noravank Monastery
Medieval Armenian taste and architectural talent were interblended in Noravank, founded in the 9th century, this monastery developed in the 13th and 14th centuries. Surrounded by high red-coloured mountains and built from stones taken from those rocks, Noravank harmoniously complements the local landscape, remaining unique in its kind.

5.00We had a group trip with guide Hasmik and driver Norik. We can say that it was a brilliant choice. It was great to see that Hasmik is really proud of her country and nation, we learned a lot of facts of history. Great timing with stops 40 till 60 min were enough to relax. The driver was professional and driving safely during the whole trip. We have one minor remark - the “wine tasting” was an interesting glimpse into Armenian wine making, but not a proper tasting. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it, too.

5.00Our Tour was with the Tour Guide Hasmik and the driver Artusch. Hasmik is a lovely woman with a big knowledge about the Armenian history and Culter. It was a pleasure to listen to her. Artusch is a very carful and patient driver, my doughter and i felt very safe driving with him. We will definitely book a tour with ONWAY TOUR again, when we come back to Armenia. Thank you for the lovely experience.

5.00The guide was good and exhaustive, the ride we liked and are places to see definitely. The driver who took us was good at driving his not too reliable car.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Armenia, and especially recommend Maria as a guide.
