What To Expect
Khor Virap
Many people know that Armenia is the first Christian country in the world. It was officially accepted in 301 when Grigor was released from the capital's prison, which was here before. He was imprisoned here for 13 years for his Christian faith. Being the last hope of the sick king, he cured him, after which the king accepted Christianity as the state religion. At the same time, the best view of Mount Ararat opens from here. Being very close to Ararat gives you the opportunity to see the entire structure of the mountain and admire its beauty.
Noravank Monastery
Medieval Armenian taste and architectural talent were interblended in Noravank, founded in the 9th century, this monastery developed in the 13th and 14th centuries. Surrounded by high red-coloured mountains and built from stones taken from those rocks, Noravank harmoniously complements the local landscape, remaining unique in its kind.

5.00Really glad I booked this tour. The tour guide Vahag & Hovik the driver were brilliant. Vahag was very knowledgable and it was good to learn about Armenia history and information at the sites we visited. I liked the variety of the day and the different spots really offered that. The bus journey was enjoyable, and was fun just looking at the beautiful scenery. The day is long but it’s worth it and doesn’t feel like you’re just sat on the bus all day as it is broken up. Vahag was personable and was accommodating for us English speaking guests. Enjoyed his company and chatting with him. Recommend the tour!

5.00I really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it. Traveling in a small van with only seven people made the experience much more personal and comfortable. Our guide, Hayk, was excellent — very knowledgeable, approachable, and his English was superb. I especially appreciated that the tour started as soon as everyone arrived, even a few minutes before the scheduled time, which meant we reached each stop ahead of the crowds — a huge advantage. Hayk listened to everyone, answered questions thoughtfully, and even made safe photo stops along the way when possible, while keeping us perfectly on schedule. He struck a great balance between flexibility and good time management. A special mention also to our driver Roman, who was fantastic — funny, professional, drove very safely, and kept everything running smoothly and on time. Beautiful itinerary, great organization, wonderful team — highly recommended.

2.00This is a long day and it is even longer with a guide who is not very nice . She was very knowledgeable and could give many facts on each place . But her English was not good enough to converse and she became quite defensive when I asked when we would return to Yerevan . I don’t think anyone gave her a tip

5.00We had a group trip with guide Hasmik and driver Norik. We can say that it was a brilliant choice. It was great to see that Hasmik is really proud of her country and nation, we learned a lot of facts of history. Great timing with stops 40 till 60 min were enough to relax. The driver was professional and driving safely during the whole trip. We have one minor remark - the “wine tasting” was an interesting glimpse into Armenian wine making, but not a proper tasting. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it, too.
