Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Our professional staff will be there to welcome you in Tanzania and transfer you to your hotel in either Kilimanjaro or Arusha region and this will be exactly start of your journey to the roof of Africa! After checking in your hotel and have a short resting, late afternoon you will be given a pre-trek briefing with our staff (guide) to explain the itinerary, safety protocols, tips for successful summit Kilimanjaro and check for your gears and what to expect on the trek. This evening you'll have the chance to meet your Climbing crew before getting a good nights rest in preparation for the adventure ahead. We will recommend our travelers where they can book for hotel in Moshi town that will be easy for access to the gate of the national park on the next day.

Our guide and a mountain support crew will arrive at the hotel to meet you and introduction of the crew and another briefing. You will be driven from your hotel to Lendorossi gate (2,200m). After the quick registration with the recue service and get permit, the trek starts with an easy walk through the lush rainforest. The trail winds through this vibrant ecosystem, where you'll have a chance to spot some monkeys, birds and occasional exotic plant (not guaranteed). The air is cool, refreshing and rich greenery will make you feel better. Once you reach camp our professional mountain crew will prepare everything necessary, put tents and cook dinner for you. Because of a reduction in your waking breathing pattern, your body gets less oxygen than during the day. Pay attention to your own body and tell your guide if you start feeling any symptoms of altitude sickness. After breakfast, you'll leave the rainforest, behind as you ascend through an open landscape of grasses, wildflowers and striking volcanic rock formations, the trails take you into the Moorland zone. This trek is not is not difficult and you'll be able to enjoy spectacular views of Africa and the surrounding areas. Once you reach a camp, you'll be greeted by the cooler air of the alpine zone and a panoramic view of the majestic Shira plateau. Shira 2 camp is the best place on the trip to see Mountain Meru (the fifth highest peak in Africa). On the way you'll have a chance to learn some local culture of Tanzania with your local guides by make some stories that you will learn more through and some Tanzania songs for keep motivate to Hike Kilimanjaro. After breakfast you will leave shira 2 camp (3,900) and start one of the most scenic days on the trek. You'll begin the day by crossing the Shira plateau, with panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and the towering Kilimanjaro glaciers in the distance. As you climb higher, you will reach Lava Tower (4,630m), a massive rock formation that offers awe-inspiring views. From here, the trail descends to Barranco camp (3,960m), helping with acclimatization as you spend time on this slightly lower attitude before the summit push. If any participant feel sick, the group may refrain from passing the Lava Tower and adjust the route. Once you arrive to the Brranco camp that our mountain crew will set the camp and welcoming you for Dinner and overnight there. Hiking time Distance covered:

We recommend to leave the camp as early as possible in the camp to avoid some crowds of other groups. After early breakfast on day 4 of trek is all about tackling the iconic Barranco wall, a steep but non-technical climb that will take you through a series of rocky sections and narrow paths, but don't be worry because our guides are experts at choosing an optional pace for the group. As you ascend the wall, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of Kilimanjaro's summit and the continue toward Karanga camp (4,035m). The landscape is Alpine desert, with rocky terrain and striking views of the mountain. Once at a camp relax, enjoy a hot lunch and enjoy the quite atmosphere of this isolated site.. On day 5 of trek, after a breakfast you'll trek from Karanga to Barafu camp, is the final camp before your summit attempt. The trails is steep, but views are absolutely breathtaking, with Kilimanjaro's glaciers towering overhead. The hike to Barafu camp is about 4km with an elevation gain of 605 Meters. As you reach camp, the excitement will build as you prepare for your summit ascent. At Barafu camp you'll rest and have an early dinner in preparation for your mid-night departure toward Uhuru peak the following day. The culmination of your journey: Day 6 is the summit day and it begins at mid-night when you start your ascent toward Uhuru peak (5,895m), the roof of Africa. The trail is a bit tough with steep but the climb is relatively simple but the most challenging part is the high altitude and for more safety each pair of our climbers will get a personal guide. After 6-8 hours of hiking you'll reach the summit, where you'll be greeted by breathtaking views and the immense satisfaction of standing at the highest point in Africa. After enjoy the summit you will begin to descent. As you descent through Alpine desert. Arriving at camp and you can celebrate your achievement. Note this more than 90% of all accident happen during the descent, please pay attention for your feet when you walk but our guides will make sure to be safety. Distance covered 12km/ 7.5miles Hiking time: 6-7 hours summit and 5-6 hours to Mweka camp or Millenium Camp depending on ascent and descent timing.

On the final day of your trek, you'll make the descent from the Mweka camp to Mweka gate, where your Kilimanjaro journey officially ends. The descent is gradual and takes you through the lush rainforest, filled with vibrant flora and fauna. Upon reaching Mweka gate, you will be greeted with certificates of achievement, recognizing your success in conquering Kilimanjaro. Afterward, you will be transferred back to your hotel for a celebratory meal and chance to reflect on the incredible experience you have just completed. You will meet your driver who will transfer from Kilimanjaro to drive to Arusha, driving approximately will take 3 hours. Distance covered: 10km/ 6miles Hike time: 3-4 hours

On this final day depend on your plane schedule but as a company we offered one of the local activity and cultural tourism with our local and experienced guide, once you booked an activity with us our operator will help to mention all those popular activities and this will done for nothing cost for our clients who did Kilimanjaro with us. 5.00I went with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris to climb the highest mountain in Africa (Kilimanjaro) through the Lemosho route. For me this is one of the best nature experiences while I was in Tanzania and recommend everyone who is into thinking about climbing Kilimanjaro to try with Songbirds safaris. To start off I have to give a shout to the Tanzania Songbirds Safari Crew which are divided into 3 groups but work together (guides, chef, porter) The company they are helping us a lot during the reservation and preparation process like what to pack for Kilimanjaro and respond to many of my questions about Kilimanjaro. They also booked me the one hotel before and after Kilimanjaro which is a very good hotel in Moshi town and all the airport transfers they just arranged well. On the first day at the hotel we met with some of the crew members and they just checked our gears if we have all or miss some and the good thing is they have an option to rent all mountain gears so you don't need to worry about that, we also get the best advice from our guide about Kilimanjaro and they really know we'll their professional and theirs advice give us fir Kilimanjaro via Lemosho was true helpful. On the mountain you can ask any questions or requests and they will pay all attention and solve it as quickly as possible and also they must check for your health often, that's why they carried the medical checks. Our team of mountain porters are really nice and carry all our loading, and I can say without them our mission probably can't be successful. The food on the mountain was great and the chef did his job great and we changed different options. On behalf of my team, I want to thank all from Songbirds safaris who participated to make our dream come true in Kilimanjaro. My experience on Kilimanjaro with Tanzania Songbirds safari was excellent.

Thanks to the great team of our guides (Lameck and David), our most heroes, the portes for carrying everything for us for the whole 7 days, our best chef on the mountain we can't thank you enough Mr. Martin, your skills are remarkable. Thanks so much to all of you and we want to let you know again without you, we can't have the excellent experience as we get with you. The Lemosho is a bit challenging but with the best team you guarantee to make it to the top. This is my recommendation for anyone looking for the best hiking experience with the best local owner company to choose without hesitation.

5.00What a good experience we had in Kilimanjaro, 7 days through the Lemosho route, challenging but very good. We booked to climb Kilimanjaro with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris 2 months before and they are really quick to respond to us and help to organize our trip to Tanzania. It is such a far country and we have never been to Africa and we feel more home since day one we arrived at the airport. Our driver guide (Lameck and James) they come to pick us up at the Kilimanjaro international airport and make the smooth transfer with the comfortable car to our hotel in Moshi town, and on evening we met our other group for Kilimanjaro of Chef and our porters. Our Climb for 7 days in Lemosho make us to learn a lot from our team about the country and we are happy with our team that become unstoppable to the top and this make us so proud after touch the roof of Africa (Uhuru Peak) 5,895 Meter. The entire team is very helpful for us and they are looking after us from every step. We thank all the staff and team from Tanzania Songbirds Safaris for making our trip in Tanzania especially Kilimanjaro to be unforgettable for our good experience and nice team we ever had. Our team of the porters, guides and chef are so friendly and make this journey of Kilimanjaro to be smooth and make us to the summit point. I'm not really good at the reviews but I just want to say thanks to all our crew who made this trip of our dream to be reality. Our operator (Tanzania Songbirds Safaris) that we contacted Israel, he organized and made sure we get what we deserve. We don't feel more business with this company but more friendly and humanity. 5.00Tanzania Songbirds Safaris deserve to be the most top rated local tour company for Kilimanjaro and all Tanzania tours. Since we planned for our trip in Tanzania, we communicated with different operators and finally for the big confidence we booked with Songbirds Safaris. We arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport and the great driver from the company came to pick us up and transfer to our mid-range hotel in Moshi town in Kilimanjaro city. 2 days after arriving in Tanzania we finally met our Kilimanjaro crew for 15 people that includes 2 guides, porters and a chef. This team I can say is amazing and so important is their big support to make sure we make it to the top (Uhuru peak); day by day was challenging but their great motivational makes to get more energetic. Finally after 5 days of our challenging climb we come to our best 6 days and our favorite night to remember, where we summit and make our dream come true, actually is relatively simple for summit for us and then we started descent to Mweka gate on day 7 and make our perfect journey of 7 days to the roof of Africa. Me and my friends recommend Tanzania songbirds safaris and the team of the great crew that are led by our fantastic guide Lameck and David. Our guides (Lameck & Emanuel) have good skills and are the best professional guides, everything they arranged well and made this trip to be memorable and fantastic for us, they lead us all the way to the summit. 5.00The trip is well arranged from, day one when we met our crew in our hotel They came for a briefing but also to know each other before we headed for Kilimanjaro and the briefing was really nice and we had a good conversation with each other, they also give us a tip of conquer Kilimanjaro to the top (Uhuru peak, that the summit point about 5,895m). We appreciate them all and also allow us to join the short walk in the city after the meeting of roughly 1 hour. They come to pick us up at our hotel early and are ready to start the new adventure of 7 days of Kilimanjaro on the lemosho route, they drove us in a comfortable car and all they are excited to see we make our dream come true to the top of Kilimanjaro. Our crew contains 16 people that includes 2 guides, porters and chef, we went on a private tour and not with other travelers but we met so many groups on the way. Our team was very humble, helpful, and very experienced in their professional life, we should be so proud of them. Kilimanjaro is not very easy, it's a bit challenging and this will depend on your body fitness but always our crew Sayed, Kili (short name of Kilimanjaro) is for everyone and everyone around the globe who is dreaming of climbing it, must summit because it is possible and that always gave us motivate and inspire us and also they gave us some stories when they started to climb also was a bit harder but they also did. This crew we will never forget that our guide leader was Lameck and James that are really true heroes and everyone from the crew they appreciated their plan for our 7 day of Kili. One of our hardest parts but we did was the summit night that we started ascent on the midnight for reaching the Uhuru peak and early in the morning we found ourselves on the target point of Uhuru peak. We couldn't believe it, the harder and dreaming for long but always the crew was behind us and took care of us. The other things on the mountain tents, foods, and all service is super excellent. You can't imagine the high elevation you climb with such great service they provide. I want to take this chance again to thank all the staff of Tanzania Songbirds Safaris, especially the operator and the crew we had for Kilimanjaro, we will always be in our heart for the Tanzania memory, and I can't wait to recommend the company for anyone looking for the Kilimanjaro Climbing.
