Habari Adventure's commitment to the larger community provides a powerful, ethical underpinning that elevates the trekking experience far above simple adventure tourism, a philosophy evident in their status as a 100% local, fair-trade company; the fact that a percentage of the profits directly supports the Habari Foundation—a dedicated organization that provides critical assistance, including schooling and accommodation, to local children—means that every step taken on Kilimanjaro contributes tangibly to the local community's welfare, offering an element of travel with purpose. This ethical responsibility also manifests in their strict adherence to responsible tourism practices, including proper porter compensation, meticulous waste management, and environmental conservation efforts like tree planting in the Kilimanjaro region, ensuring the mountain ecosystem is preserved. Beyond their admirable ethics, the team's depth of local expertise was extraordinary: our guides, often growing up in the shadow of Kili, were natural educators, weaving in details about the Chagga culture, local flora, and the mountain's history, turning transit time into a rich cultural immersion. From the smooth, comfortable hotel stays arranged pre- and post-climb to the high level of medical and logistical preparedness on the Machame trail, Habari Adventure provides a complete, responsibly managed, and culturally enriching package that stands as the definitive choice for conscious travelers seeking not just a summit, but a meaningful journey.

MY FIVE DAYS TO THE ROOF OF AFRICA AS FROM 4TH TO 8TH SEPTEMBER Day 1:Arrival On the first day, we started with briefing our tour guides ,Moses and Japheth from Habari adventures. We were welcomed with different Tanzanian delicacies and entertainment from different cultures. By evening, we reached Mandara Hut, where we spent the night awaiting for the day of adventure to start . Day 2:Mandara hut to Horombo hut. The second day took us to Horombo Hut. The forest gave way to open moorland with short bushes and heathers. We could already see the snowy peak of Kibo in the distance. The air was thinner, but the scenery was beautiful. Day 3:Horombo hut to Kibo hut. On the third day, we climbed higher toward Kibo Hut, We crossed a dry and rocky area called the Saddle. The place was not easy as most of us almost gave up,but with the support of our guides we kept pushing. When we reached the hut, we rested early because we knew the next adventure which was summit attempt would start at midnight, and it is the toughest. Day 4:Kibo hut to the roof of Africa. The fourth day was the toughest. In the freezing darkness, we climbed steadily toward the top. Just before sunrise, we reached Uhuru Peak which was 5,895 metres above sea level, the highest point in Africa. Watching the sun rise above the clouds was an emotional and unforgettable moment in my life . Day5:Descending On the fifth day, we descended back through Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate. Though tired, we were proud and happy to have completed the climb. Our guides congratulated us and we received certificates for completing the climb. My trip up Mount Kilimanjaro taught me that with determination and patience, even the biggest goals can be achieved.

October 15th 2025 when I was having the toughest moments of my life I decided to go clear my head with Habari adventure and ask me what??I got more than what I just I expected.I together with my boyfriend and my girls left for a six day camp with Habari adventurs. We were happily welcomed by jovial guides Mr Michael and Mr Gabriel. They showed us all around where we interacted with different animals;the giraffes, lions, elephant name them all.. The best part of it is that they made it so fun it's was like we were in the movie acting live ☺️☺️ The guides sense of humour was so deep,we spent the whole trip laughing to an extent that we told the driver to stop the vehicle and give us time to laugh. It was just more than crazy 🤣 Mountain climbing was magical,it all became so easier and fun with the help of Habari adventure. We reached the peak of mount Kilimanjaro by the help of our guides They didn't leave us but helped us every step we needed help. Finally we had the best breathtaking views of Tanzania from up there. In the evenings ,Mr Abdi made it his duty to serve as with a rich Tanzania culture which was so fun. We were served with delicious meals which Sir Thomas ,the cook, and his assistants outdid themselves. We had some comfortable places to sleep where we had fun games till we fall asleep. At the end of it all I forgot that I was stressed before and didn't even want to leave. Indeed i had found a home,a family in Habari.I recommend that if you are looking for the best place then call it Habari adventure. Its the best of the best, just give it a try.
