Amboseli is renowned for its impressive elephant herds, with the iconic image of elephants against the backdrop of the snow-capped Kilimanjaro becoming almost emblematic of African wildlife. Apart from game drives, travelers will engage in evening nature walks and sundowner events, bringing them closer to the mystical allure of the African wilderness. Amboseli National Park

Following an inspiring morning game drive, visitors will have a chance to take a refreshing coffee stop, savoring Kenya's famed arabica blends, perhaps at a quaint cafe overlooking the vast plains or at a local coffee house en-route. The journey then continues towards the iconic Amboseli National Park. As the vehicle traverses the rugged landscapes, the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, gradually comes into full view, setting the scene for the breathtaking vistas that await. Arriving at the lodge by evening, the welcome is warm and inviting. Guests can unwind to the ambient sounds of the wild, dine under the African sky with sumptuous local and international dishes, and relish in the serene ambiance of their chosen camp or lodge. The day culminates in relaxation, preparing for the adventures that the following dawn promises in the heart of Amboseli.

Observation Hill

Our adventure today is an extensive game drive, as you pass through the terrains of Amboseli ranging from open plains, marshlands, seasonal lakes and lava strewn thorn bushes to the acacia woodland. Enjoy worldclass photography as our experienced safari guides, position the safari vehicle for you to take the best moments of your game viewing. With luck you’ll see herds of buffalo, families of elephants, prides of lions, and much more besides. You can choose to take an optional extra visit to a Masai village. These warriors are part of a proud nomadic tradition that you are invited to learn about in their village. The tribespeople of the Masai are renowned for their prowess in battle against wild animals; their strength and courage admired around the world. Your visit will show you the Masai culture, with a welcoming presentation of traditional singing and dancing, part of their sacred rituals.

Nairobi

An early start will show you the sunrise with a game drive into the Amboseli, experiencing the dawn chorus and transition from night to morning across the savanna. You’ll then return to your lodge for breakfast. Following breakfast, it’s time to check out of your accommodation and bid farewell to Amboseli National Park. You’ll be transported back to Nairobi with an early afternoon arrival and the option of a hotel, residence, or airport drop-off depending on your requirements.
