This walk begins in the world-renowned Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, set against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Here, Geoff brings the landscape to life through stories of the Khoi Khoi people who once moved across this region in harmony with nature, living from the rich diversity of indigenous plants and water sources of the Cape.
As the walk winds through ancient trees, shaded pathways, and the extraordinary fynbos of the Cape Floral Kingdom, guests discover the botanical, cultural, and historical significance of this remarkable garden. Along the way, Geoff shares stories of traditional plant medicine, early Cape history, and the vision that transformed Kirstenbosch into one of the world’s great botanical gardens.

My walk from Kirstenbosch to Constantia with Geoff was one of the highlights of my time in Cape Town. The experience was far more than just a walk. Geoff brought the landscape to life with fascinating stories about the history of the Cape, the indigenous plants of the fynbos, traditional medicinal uses, and the rich heritage of the Constantia wine region. His knowledge, passion, and ability to connect people with the environment made the journey truly memorable. The route through Kirstenbosch and the surrounding forests was breathtaking, with spectacular views of Table Mountain and Constantia Valley. The day was perfectly paced, with plenty of opportunities to stop, learn, take photographs, and enjoy the scenery. The wine tasting and lunch at the end were the perfect reward after a beautiful morning outdoors. Everything was professionally organised, and Geoff's warm personality made everyone feel welcome. If you're looking for an authentic Cape Town experience that combines nature, history, culture, and wine, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. A five-star experience from start to finish.

The Kirstenbosch to Constantia Wine Walk was one of the most unique and memorable experiences we had in Cape Town. From the very beginning, Geoff made the day feel relaxed, personal, and incredibly special. His passion for the region, combined with his storytelling and knowledge, added so much depth to the experience. Walking through the magnificent Kirstenbosch Gardens and into the Constantia Valley was absolutely beautiful. The scenery was breathtaking throughout, and the pace of the walk was perfect, allowing us to fully appreciate both the natural beauty and the history of the area. The wine tastings at the estates were excellent, with each farm offering something distinctive and memorable. Geoff curated the day brilliantly, creating a seamless blend of nature, wine, culture, and conversation. What truly stood out was Geoff himself. He has a wonderful way of connecting with people and making everyone feel comfortable and included. His enthusiasm is genuine and infectious, and it is clear that he truly loves sharing the beauty and stories of the Cape with his guests. This was far more than a wine tour. It was an immersive and unforgettable experience that captured the spirit of Cape Town perfectly. Highly recommended and an absolute must-do when visiting the Cape.

This was a well-paced, educational, entertaining, enlightening, and enjoyable experience. Geoff interacted well with all members of the group and paced the walk well for everyone. He shares his information in such a relaxed and interesting manner, sprinkling in wit and humor along the way. The garden was fantastic and the wine lovely; Geoff was the magic that bound it all together though. :)

A lovely stroll through Kirstenbosch Gardens and Yellow Wood forest. Geoff and Nahla were fantastic hosts and guides. They really brought the experience to life with their knowledge of the flora, fauna and history of the area. The wine tasting at Groot Consantia was an excellent end to the morning's experience.

Geoff was an excellent guide. He was helpful before our trip in planning activities, he tailored the info during the walk based on our interests and personalities, we had an engaging two way conversation rather than a recitation of facts and, he even provided snacks and drinks that were unique to South Africa. We highly recommend him.

This walk is pure magic. Starting in the lush beauty of Kirstenbosch Gardens and winding down through forest trails into the Constantia wine valley, it’s one of the most rewarding ways to experience Cape Town’s natural and cultural heritage. Geoff is a fantastic guide relaxed, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the Cape’s history, plants, and people. Along the way, he shared stories about the early explorers, the ancient flora of the fynbos kingdom, and the origins of winemaking in the region. Every step felt meaningful. The highlight was ending with a wine tasting and lunch overlooking the vineyards at Constantia Glen it was the perfect reward after such a beautiful journey. If you want a truly authentic Cape experience that combines nature, history, and fine wine, this is it. Geoff’s walk is a standout intimate, insightful, and unforgettable.

We joined Geoff for the Kirstenbosch to Constantia Wine Walk, and it was the highlight of our trip to Cape Town. The walk began in the stunning Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, where Geoff brought the surroundings to life with fascinating stories about indigenous plants and the history of the Cape. From there, we followed mountain paths with sweeping views over the Constantia Valley before descending into the vineyards. It felt as though we had stepped off the usual tourist trail and discovered a hidden side of Cape Town. The wine tasting at Constantia Glen was superb, and lunch was paired beautifully with the wines. We had plenty of time to relax, enjoy the views, and take in the atmosphere. The entire experience lasted around 6.5 hours at a very comfortable pace. Geoff was attentive throughout, weaving together nature, history, and wine into one seamless experience. We left with a deep appreciation for both the landscape and the wines of Constantia. For anyone looking for a unique and memorable way to experience Cape Town, this walk is an absolute must.
