Wonderful trip. Great islands, seen while snorkeling many fish, corals and plants. Time for snorkeling and sightseeing was adequate, food was fine, organization very professional, team very friendly and helpful. A speedboat makes loud engine noises and smells gel. After gas, but that's the only way to handle the trip in one day.

Leaves from Koh Samui! (which isninportant because I nearly booked a tour leaving from Koh Tao wooos! The operation was seamless. Collection and drop off to accommodation. The guides were so friendly and fun. But the best bit was they didn’t restrict you too much where you snorkelled! I’m a strong swimmer and would often swim far away but if I got too far they just simply whistled and I’d come back a bit. No guides following you around in the water which I loved having the time to myself! Great lunch stop! It was sad seeing sooooo much coral bleaching but still plenty of fish about which is a good sign!! Koh Tao spots and visiting nearby Koh Nang Yuan was a highlight! Beautiful snorkelling, 3 small islands connected by little beaches and a short uphill walk to a view point that’s worth it! Free water and cola on board, beer for woo baht! No complaints!!! Viator doesn’t talk about the company name that is running the experience but I think it was good Samui or happy Samui and more it leaves from Koh saumi

The whole day was so perfect. The organisation from start to finish was flawless. Picked up from hotel in lovely air conditioned mini bus, great organisation and instructions when we arrived at the port. Speedboat is comfortable and fits about 30. You can only see out of back or if you go out in the front which isn’t covered. We were happy to sit inside out of the sun. The guide and crew were great and making sure everyone knew what the day held and making sure people were all ok. The trip is 1.5 hrs each way and the noise from the engines means you can’t really talk but honestly most people nodded off both ways! There was no one on board even slightly sea sick but the water was really calm. The first stop we managed to get close to a green turtle which was truly amazing and it swam straight under me. The scenery and koh Tao are magnificent and well worth to 1.5 hr journey. The second stop we stopped in another little bay and saw all sorts of fish. We haven’t done a lot of snorkelling but the coral and fish were amazing to see. The next stop was for lunch in a restaurant in koh Tao and the food was possibly the best I have had in Thailand on an excursion and we did the Michelin tuk tuk tour in Bangkok and this was better. Next stop koh nang yang which was knock your socks off beautiful. More snorkelling although not loads to see in the water but the place was incredible to sit and take in for an hour and a bit. Really great day and a highlight of our 2 weeks in Thailand. Remember to put plenty of sun cream on your bum!
