What To Expect
Kompong Phluk
Take a half-day tour by comfortable mini-van and motorized boat. Float alongside homes, shops, and schools on this interactive Kompong Phluk tour. Optionally, take a rowing boat ride around the flooded forest.
We don't visit the primiary school of Rolous however we will visit the rolous market that is next door to the school. Travelers will wander through the market and learn of how villagers sell their homegrown produce here.

5.00Our tour guide, King Kong, was very friendly and knowledgeable to tell us all about the history of the floating village. It began with an on-time pick up from our hotel and the first stop was to walk through the local village market describing a lot of different things. Then we boarded the boat for a leisurely cruise through the floating village with an optional small boat cruise through the mangrove forest before returning to our hotel. Overall, highly recommended half day tour.

5.00Right from the start till the end it was a very wonderful tour. Chenda our tour guide was very good. The entire trip he gave us a lot of information about the floating village. It was definitely a day well spent in Siem Reap by doing this tour. The small boat experience was amazing and the restaurant they took us to served authentic khmer cuisine which was very delicious

It was a great experience being able to see inside some of the houses and really explore the town, we even got to see some wildlife which is always a plus

5.00It was a very enjoyable experience—well-planned and perfectly on time. It was great to venture beyond the typical tourist areas and get a glimpse of real life in Cambodia. Of course, the tour still had a touristy element, but it felt meaningful knowing we were contributing to a relatively isolated community and supporting their livelihood. I had never experienced a floating village before, and it was fascinating to see how the residents have adapted so well to the fluctuating water levels. Our guide, Ry, was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour engaging from start to finish. Overall, it was excellent value for money.

5.00Excellent trip led by our tour guide Phyrom. He made our trip so memorable with his professional and friendly approach. We visited a local market, boat trip to the Floating Village finishing off with a local boat through the man grove. We actually felt that this was one of our best tour led trips due to Phyrom!! We have has numerous private tour guides but not as good as him. This trip is a must if in Seim Reap.

Both guides were warm, attentive, and Tear spoke clear, confident English that made every part of the trip easy to follow. The timing of the tour felt well planned, giving us the opportunity to explore the floating village without feeling rushed. Pickup and drop-off were smooth and comfortable, and we appreciated having water available throughout the day. They encouraged questions and shared thoughtful insights that helped us understand the local way of life on a deeper level. Seeing the community on the water was an experience that stays with you.
