Peyton, Koa and Jacob - great job! Super communicative, funny, courteous and most of all professional. They're locals who know what they're doing, a small business that holds customers experience above everything else. Some folks there were repeat customers and that speaks volumes

Honestly, this was one of the best 20-30 minutes of my life. The Mantas were incredible - akin to watching up close pairs figure skating or synchronized swimming - they move like a beautiful dance twirling all around while humans try to stay still and take in their majesty. It would not have been possible without the amazing staff. From the sweet girl at check-in on to our captain Koa who was kind and considerate to all as well as a great captain, to our guide Peyton and finally our lifeguard ? Ke Ka??? these guys lived the aloha! They weren’t just professional, but treated us like royalty. Peyton was the absolute best. Manta rays are highly intelligent and social and the pair we got to see know and LOVE her. They obviously want to be near her which is great for everyone on the snorkel adventure. Also, she helped us reschedule our trip and went way above and beyond to help make it happen for us. It seems like everyone at this company really loves the ocean and the rays and is really committed to making sure you will too. I can’t recommend My Kona Adventures enough!

This is a spectacular experience you can only do on the Big Island. Manta rays swim right up to you.

It was an exciting adventure, but my wife and I have decided that snorkeling is not the best activity for someone who needs glasses to see. Very professional crew and glad to have had the adventure!!

This experience was out of this world! Nick and his crew did a fantastic job. Check-in was easy and the boat ride was quick. None of us got sick, and I almost always get seasick. You are in the water for barely 30 minutes, which seems to be the norm for these tours. If anything, it’ll leave you wanting to do it again and again. The mantas are simply magical! Another benefit of My Kona Adventures is their Kama’aina rate. You should also ask about their cash vs. credit card options. I can’t wait to tell my family and friends about this experience!

The trip was a lot of fun! We had Peyton, Jacob and Koa on board with us! They explained and coordinated everything well, and were super friendly and engaged! They remembered names and made us laugh a lot, which are small things that go a long way. Shoes and personal belongings were collected so they stayed dry. The snorkels were comfortable too, no issues. The ride itself lasts around 45 minutes, with the majority of it in the water. The people were also great; it was a smaller group of 11, plus the waters were comfortable. Of course, the manta rays are wild animals and cant be controlled, so its inevitable some groups wont see a bunch of Rays, but the company does a free rebooking if you dont end up seeing any, which is awesome 🙌 If you and your group are okay with maybe having to try a few times, it wont take much time out of your day and is absolutely worth trying out! Gorgeous animals 🙂

It was a once in a lifetime experience for me, my 11 year old daughter, and my mom. It was never scary. Just magical.
