Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!
Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.
Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.

What To Expect
If there are no sightings, we do not offer refunds, but we do offer a FREE RERIDE. *If you are purchasing a "NOT SNORKELING" ticket, please be advised that there is no guarantee of seeing manta rays from the boat. With check-in time, boat travel, and water time: Total time is around 1.2 hours. (25-30 of that is water time). We operate a smaller boat; a 23 foot RHIB (Zodiac style) boat and take 11 passengers. Tour duration from departure to return is about 50 minutes in length, which includes 25-30 minutes of water time. Important note: -Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate. -Must have basic snorkeling experience. -Casual Use Life Jackets are not provided unless 13 years of age and under. -Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat. -Wetsuits are optional and available to rent at check-in. -Please do not bring valuables as we do not have an office and you will need to keep your belongings in your own vehicle. -Tour times are subject to change. -Ocean conditions can change without notice; choppy ocean conditions may occur.

5.00I went with four friends on the night time Manta ray swim. Everyone was friendly and processional. The communication from the company was great. We knew exactly what to bring and where to go. The raft ride was short and we were in the water quickly. I saw a manta ray immediately and after a while, we all saw mantas and had them bumping us. It was amazing! 🤩 Peyton was our guide and Mike was our captain. They were funny, friendly and informative. Just an overall good experience. Would definitely recommend.

4.00Once in a lifetime to see these great sea creatures!! We saw many rays close up and personal, within inches of us. The only drawback was the water was pretty rough that night and other companies canceled due to this. Taco and Fisher were great!! Safety was a top priority with them!! Taco was with us in the water and gave us a lesson on the rays

5.00This was the most magical experience ever! We got to see these beautiful gentle giants who come kissing distance to you. I was blessed to be grazed by a mantas fin on my stomach. My boyfriend and I laughed as they came right up under our faces. The guides were amazing and so friendly. Highly recommend if you are comfortable in the ocean and around sea creatures. This is all we talked about for the whole trip! It was our favorite moment. I highly respect the staff as they taught us about the mantas and what to do to keep us and the mantas safe in their natural habitat.

5.00We had the most amazing crew. Jen was very accommodating getting us geared up and answering a ton of questions by other guest. The boat crew was really fun and very friendly. Jen was a great guide she knew so much about the animals and had a very energetic attitude. We got to see manta rays and dolphins. I would highly recommend the tour to everyone.

5.00This is a really cool excursion that can only be experienced on the Big Island. The waters were choppy when we went in December, so it wasn’t as ideal, but still amazing. I would still recommend for a unique nature experience. This company and staff were awesome.
