Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!
Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.
Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.

What To Expect
If there are no sightings, we do not offer refunds, but we do offer a FREE RERIDE. *If you are purchasing a "NOT SNORKELING" ticket, please be advised that there is no guarantee of seeing manta rays from the boat. With check-in time, boat travel, and water time: Total time is around 1.2 hours. (25-30 of that is water time). We operate a smaller boat; a 23 foot RHIB (Zodiac style) boat and take 11 passengers. Tour duration from departure to return is about 50 minutes in length, which includes 25-30 minutes of water time. Important note: -Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate. -Must have basic snorkeling experience. -Casual Use Life Jackets are not provided unless 13 years of age and under. -Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat. -Wetsuits are optional and available to rent at check-in. -Please do not bring valuables as we do not have an office and you will need to keep your belongings in your own vehicle. -Tour times are subject to change. -Ocean conditions can change without notice; choppy ocean conditions may occur.

5.00The team that took us out were friendly, knowledgable and very welcoming. This is an experience I highly recommend anyone to do. There is no peace quite like being in the water with the mantas. Value: 5/5 Experience: 5/5 Ease of activity: 4/5 - I only put it at 4 because you need to know how to swim, which is a barrier for some people. Overall: 5/5

5.00Amazing once in a life time experience. Payton and the rest of the crew were awesome. One of us was very nervous but Payton did a great job assisting to make them feel comfortable. The smaller group size allowed ensure we all had a great time. Oh…and we saw a ton a Mantas.

5.00We had an absolutely amazing experience with Manta Ray Night Snorkeling through My Kona Adventures. They were punctual, professional, and incredibly friendly from start to finish—from the staff at check-in to the crew on the boat. Everyone was welcoming, patient, and made us feel completely comfortable. The crew was especially kind and knowledgeable, and they went out of their way to help, including assisting my young kids with their snorkeling gear whenever needed. That extra care really stood out. The whole experience felt safe, well-organized, and unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better night, and I’m so glad we chose My Kona Adventures over the other options. Truly a highlight of our trip!

5.00We had a fantastic experience with My Kona Adeventures team. Taco was our tour guide on the night and was fun and informative. The manta rays are beautiful and majestic and it was the absolute highlight of our trip the Big Island of Hawaii. The team at My Kona adeventures were also very easy to work with and made the experience seamless. Would highly recommend!

5.00The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and funny. We had Koa as our captain, Tako for our in water support and Kekai as our lifeguard. The woman who helped us get signed in was also wonderful but we didn’t get her name. Overall it’s a great experience and was actually very easy / comfortable. Recommend going later in the evening as theres less tours out allowing for more manta time!
