We truly enjoyed our snorkel experience with the manta rays. Amazing! The crew was great, helpful with instructions and guidance. Loved the experience. Only suggestion, is that the registration table be lit up so people can see when they arrive, Several drove right by being it was dark (for a scheduled night-time snorkel). A large sign to show we were at the right spot would've been helpful. All-in-all we loved the experience snorkeling with the manta rays...so great....don't miss it.

Quick and efficient experience. We saw at least 4 or 5 manta rays and they really swam close to us. It was magnificent to see these beautiful creatures up close. The tour operators were friendly and competent. You have about 30 minutes in the water. About the right amount of time before we started getting a little chilly.

The reviews and comments from friends who had the experience were gushing. While waiting to go to the boat, a man returning from a trip told us, It’s awesome! You’re going to love it! So expectations were high. And the experience exceeded them. The giants swam straight at us, then flipped and rolled at the last minute. Breathtaking! Lots of adrenaline but no fear for our safety. I got a phone housing with touch screen for this trip and videoed the entire outing while clutching the raft, just holding the camera flat, lenses facing down. I am not a good swimmer or snorkeler but didn’t care that I was gargling seawater half the time. The staff helped me get to and from the raft. I am out of shape and 66 and managed the boat ladder fine, if not gracefully. Our boat got to the site earlier and left later than another outfit with customers who boarded at the docks at the same time. Our group size was smaller, about 10 adults. Staff were professional and friendly. We brought our own (prescription) goggles and snorkels (no fins necessary) but they provide them to customers. We spent $10 extra each for a dry suit jacket which was worth it for staying warm in the water and returning to shore in the breeze. My family of four was over the moon with the trip and we all want to do it again!

We did a private charter for our family of 9, ages ranging from 15 to 55, and had a magical experience - the rays were stunning, and the crew was amazing (especially as I battled some extreme sea sickness). I highly recommend My Kona Adventures!!

They were really professional, helpful and our guide who went into water with our group was providing all kids of details and info about the manta rays. The rays also put up a great show for us. We were very happy.

This was by far one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Our crew was awesome! The waters were a little rough the night we went but they kept us safe and helped us see these amazing animals. I thought the price was well worth the experience and the time of the tour was perfect.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw at least 8 fifteenth Manya Ray! It was a perfect family experience to see and appreciate the wildlife. The water is chilly at night so rent or bring your own wetsuit. Follow the staff's instructions.

Experience wasn’t great. Checking in and booking the tour was flawless. Very easy and the woman in charge was very pleasant and informative. But once getting on the boat and floating around wasn’t an experience that I’d like to go through with again. The captain was talking smack about other companies out on the water. Then was yelling at the tour guide and was a back and forth ordeal. The snorkels were leaking with water. Which made the experience not pleasant. Thus having to empty it out of water every few minutes. The diver also in a way forcing trying to find the manta rays so they would not have to refund us for the trip. Then also talking in a disrespectful manner, which he probably didn’t think anybody was listening, as everyone’s head was in the water, about the sea life. “Where are you dayum fish” etc etc. Overall, it could of been one of those days where they were having a ‘bad day’ But to treat people and surroundings in an ill manner, especially with children present. Isn’t the reputation that the previous reviews had indicated.
