Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!
Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.
Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.

What To Expect
If there are no sightings, we do not offer refunds, but we do offer a FREE RERIDE. *If you are purchasing a "NOT SNORKELING" ticket, please be advised that there is no guarantee of seeing manta rays from the boat. With check-in time, boat travel, and water time: Total time is around 1.2 hours. (25-30 of that is water time). We operate a smaller boat; a 23 foot RHIB (Zodiac style) boat and take 11 passengers. Tour duration from departure to return is about 50 minutes in length, which includes 25-30 minutes of water time. Important note: -Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate. -Must have basic snorkeling experience. -Casual Use Life Jackets are not provided unless 13 years of age and under. -Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat. -Wetsuits are optional and available to rent at check-in. -Please do not bring valuables as we do not have an office and you will need to keep your belongings in your own vehicle. -Tour times are subject to change. -Ocean conditions can change without notice; choppy ocean conditions may occur.

5.00We are a family of 6 adults who all loved this tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Kona. The men on our trip were not experienced snorkelers and practiced with a mask and snorkel in the hotel pool prior to the activity. They allowed us to use our personal snorkel that we were comfortable and familiar with. Our first try at the event was canceled due to jelly fish (thank goodness). Our rescheduled tour at 9:30pm went on without a hitch. There were 3 people in the boat (one went into the water, two stayed in the boat) watching our group of 11. We all got into the water, swam away from the boat and held onto a light source. The manta rays did not disappoint! Our guides (Koa, Peyton, and a third guide-so sorry!)provided information and kept close watch over the group while the manta rays gracefully swam from the bottom to the light. The mantas were beautiful. We had a wonderful time. We loved this tour and would totally recommend it to friends. The guides were kind and helpful getting us back into the boat. We saw several elderly people who also went on a tour. Really, try it. It was wonderful.

5.00It was AMAZING. They are such beautiful and magical creatures. The way they swim and dance in the water is so graceful. Capt Mike, Fisher and K were great. K was knowledgeable and was engaged the entire time. Thank you for a great time. If the water wasn’t chilly I could have stayed there much longer.

5.00The most amazing time!! My family and I went with tour guide Lukas, Captain Danielle, and Greg, all of which were so helpful and made sure we had an amazing experience! The manta rays got so close it was a once in a lifetime experience. I was shivering in the water since we weren’t moving and on the 5 minute boat ride back it wasn’t long. They have wet suits you can rent too if needed
