This was amazing to put in my life experiences list. It is very quick to be in water so you can spend as much time getting the chance to see the mantas. I didn't wear wet suit and did get chilly but you kind of forget about that when a ray shows up. Pictures are pretty much impossible unless you have water camera n even then you wouldn't be able to focus on what your seeing. We only saw 1 but she stayed under us pretty much the whole time. She kept doing rolls and even brushing my husband's arms as she did. So beautiful with the light and not scared of us as no one tried to reach out. Just relax your body n enjoy ! Words don't do what you will see, justice.

Everything was so smooth and professional, the check in, boat crew, Payton, our guide. We saw three rays, probably average for the day. Everyone was so kind and encouraging. A word about the guidelines- they will repeat over and over that you need to be as strong swimmer, if you can doggie paddle 10 feet you’ll be fine. Make sure you have some upper body/arm strength though, you’ll be hanging on to a raft the whole time on the water and we felt it the next day. Also the paperwork notes adults can’t have a life vest, that was not the case, you can ask for one. Also, street parking was not available for the 7:50 Tuesday slot- there was a food truck event at the corner and that’s probably why. We decided to park in the paid lot at the convention center because it was so close and wide open, but it cost $40 for the two+ hours we were there.

The experience was outstanding! We were warmly greeted by Nick and his son as we checked in. Our Captain was Koa, onboard lifeguard Whistler and in the water lifeguard Payton. All were absolutely personable, professional and welcoming. As we got out to the right area we got in the water and secured ourselves to the floating observation deck. Payton was in the water with us giving us tips and techniques to watch for mantas. Initially we didn’t see any so she, by herself pulled us while she swam to the best location. We say a manta and it was fantastic and surreal! Overall an absolutely outstanding experience and I recommend this to anyone with this company and crew! The crew stayed our extra time to ensure we were able to witness a manta ray…what a lifetime experience. Big mahalo to the crew and Nick for a superb experience!

Best price! Super nice and informative crew. Intimate experience. Taught my 6 year old to snorkel 2 days before and he got to join in. Smaller local company not price gauging. Loved it!

The Manta Rays were awesome. The company was not. There were nine other boats in the same location doing the same thing seeing the same Manta Rays. Do yourself a favor and go with one of the others. The lady at check-in, though nice, was disorganized and confused. The captain was downright unprofessional and left us all feeling unsafe. He argued and belittled his crew in front of the customers. He cared more about time than safety. The lady that got in the water with us did not seem to be experienced. Instructions were very brief and vague. We were not the only participants that were confused and surprised by the captain and crews lack of professionalism. My family has been on numerous snorkeling expeditions and never have we felt so unsafe and unvalued. All were eager to get off the boat.

This was an amazing experience for my family. My kids are 16 and 20 and it's hard to find things that impress them but this tour absolutely did. Swimming with the manta rays and having the experience of getting so close to those majestic creatures was extraordinary. It all felt very safe and the guides were very knowledgeable, even recognizing the manta rays by their spotting patterns and knowing them by name. I highly recommend.
