What To Expect
Join on a guided hike through the Korouoma National Park, a natural wonderland of frozen waterfalls and vibrant autumnal forests. Enjoy a BBQ lunch in the peaceful surroundings of the park. Begin your adventure with a hotel pick-up, followed by a scenic drive to the beautiful Korouoma National Park in the Posio area, about an hour from Rovaniemi. Once you arrive, your guide will provide interesting insights about the canyon and give essential safety instructions before starting the hike. The hike follows a 5 km loop, taking approximately 2 hours of walking through stunning natural landscapes. Along the trail, you will encounter three magnificent frozen waterfalls, which typically freeze from late November onward. If you book the tour before November, the hike is still breathtaking, especially with the vibrant colors of the autumn forest. After the hike, relax as your guide prepares a BBQ for you to enjoy in the peaceful surroundings before heading back to the city.

5.00The excursion around the 3 waterfalls was really nice! It's cold, so you have to get well equipped. Neelaka is a very friendly and welcoming guide. He took good care of our group (he gave my friend a heater), he planned a great snack, and even the chamallows toast! We very much appreciated his kindness. I recommend the tour.

5.00Our guide Deniz was fantastic. He picked us up at our hotel in Sinetta and drove us out to Korouoma. We hiked out to the waterfall at a leisurely pace while our teen snapped photos everywhere. Deniz built a fire in one of the communal pits, then treated us to sausages, blueberry juice, hot tea, and marshmallows. It was a perfect trip in a beautiful forest.

5.00I’m solo traveler and went on this hiking tour. The drive to the park took one hour, and the trail was about 5km. Our guide Alex was friendly and made this tour even more enjoyable. BBQ at the end was perfect. highly recommend!
