What To Expect
You’ll start the day by visiting the winery at the volcanic island of Milos, where you’ll meet the son of the winemaker. He’ll instruct you on the secrets of their small wine production, along with stories of the family, who have been making their own wines for more than 50 years. You’ll walk across the vineyards and learn about growing grapes in an island environment with a very particular climate – the family only works with the indigenous grape varieties. They’ll show you the traditional machines and facilities used in the winemaking process, then it’s time to explore the natural cave where the wines are stored. After the tour, you’ll taste 8 different wines accompanied by local cheese and other products from the island. The family also makes a distillation from grapes. The whole experience will last about two hours, but you’re welcome to stay longer and enjoy a glass of wine.

4.00Had a fantastic time on the wine tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Very interesting learning about the irrigation and the effects of climate change on the business. Lots of samples and snacks to go with the samples. Bought two bottles to take home with us. Recommend!

5.00We visited in October and had a tour with Sophia which was excellent. The tour was easy to understand, very relaxed, and Sophia showed us the intimate and personally family vibe the winery had to it. After the tour we got to sample the wines and they were delicious and refreshing, we even purchased a bottle for ourselves to take home. Would gladly recommend to any wine lovers, and even non-wine lovers like myself who still managed to have a great time!

5.00George gave us an excellent wine tasting. He was very knowledgeable about the grapes and the process of creating wine. If you are coming from the cruise ship, you will need to find a way to get to Polonia from the port.

5.00We had an amazing time! Walkable from where we were staying outside of Pollonia. The value for what you get out of this tour is exceptional. We enjoyed every single wine that we tried and the snacks to go along with it. We bought 3 bottles to bring home. Even with a small group, they were great at making this feel like a completely private tour.
