What To Expect
You’ll start the day by visiting the winery at the volcanic island of Milos, where you’ll meet the son of the winemaker. He’ll instruct you on the secrets of their small wine production, along with stories of the family, who have been making their own wines for more than 50 years. You’ll walk across the vineyards and learn about growing grapes in an island environment with a very particular climate – the family only works with the indigenous grape varieties. They’ll show you the traditional machines and facilities used in the winemaking process, then it’s time to explore the natural cave where the wines are stored. After the tour, you’ll taste 8 different wines accompanied by local cheese and other products from the island. The family also makes a distillation from grapes. The whole experience will last about two hours, but you’re welcome to stay longer and enjoy a glass of wine.

5.00We were very impressed by our wine tour! We did the full tasting which consistent of 9 different pours. Each were unique and we enjoyed learning about the different wine varieties. We enjoyed it so much we purchased a bottle to enjoy on our trip!

5.00The transportation to the venue is not included and is approximately 20 miles venue. The winery is a great tour and the people are very friendly and knowledgeable

5.00We were very kindly welcomed by George. He showed us the vineyard, some machines and the cellar with a very interesting story supporting this tour. We got to know the story about the Milos wine and the history of the winery. The tasting was cozy, well explained and filled with a unique pallet of tastes. The winery is a beautiful place where you come at ease and really enjoy the moment with some musical sounds produced by crickets. The only little feedback we would give is the time management. Is more likely to take 2:30 instead of 2:00.

4.00Awesome experience. You can catch the public bus to near the winery and walk a little further to get there. Super friendly environment and a most relaxing afternoon.
