What To Expect
Krakow
Pick up (Krakow) - The driver will pick you up from the place in Krakow that you chose when making your reservation. Wait for him in front of the hotel / apartment main entrance at the agreed time (or better a few minutes earlier).
Krakow
Transfer to Szczawnica - Depending on road and weather conditions, the journey takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Sit back and admire the typical Polish landscapes, which will gradually change from plain to more mountainous, until the picturesque Beskid Mountains appear on the horizon.

5.00Pick up was punctual, car is clean and spacious. Everything went as planned. They send us some helpful notes a day before which we really appreciate (weather, time for lunch etc.). Huge shout out to Peter our driver/guide who is just marvelous! Friendly communication with excellent English (we initially thought he is British haha). Plus stories about our stops and Poland in general during the drive is a bonus. We'd rate him 10/5 stars if that's possible ;) Some things to know: 1. The river rafting has beautiful views, but the explanations are mainly in Polish as the rafters are locals who don't speak much English. Super duper cold too for early Autumn. 2. We missed out mountain cheese tasting as the hut was closed unexpectedly when we arrived (heard the shepherd is busy attending to the sheep?) :( Easily one of the highlights of our Poland trip. Worth every zloty.

5.00What a great day we had with Peter. Visited the oldest wooden church, Czorsztyn Castle, river rafted down the river Dunajec on the very edge of the Slovakian border, took a cable car up to the the Pieniny mountains where you could see the Tatra mountains and tasted natural Spring waters in Szczawnica. Would highly recommend this trip. Thank you at a Thousand Miles and see you again in January!

5.00This trip was one of the highlights from my trip to Poland. Our driver , Peter, had excellent English and made the drive seem so much shorter. His knowledge of the history of Poland was amazing. He kept us entertained the whole time. The rafting was so relaxing and fun . Peter our driver made sure my friend and I had an English speaking guide , who himself was so knowledgeable and funny .

5.00It was a fantastic experience, from pick up. Peter was a tonic, full of chat and history. The cheese hut was amazing, then the castle, luckily we had great weather and the views were stunning. Then the chair lifts, that was amazing, I would highly recommend this trip.

5.00Excellent trip, driver/ guide Mirek is knowledgeable, funny and attending to all your needs and questions. Trip itself fulfil your day , the castle in Czorsztyn brings you back to the middle ages then Dunajec rafting was amazing. The Palanica mountain lift was full of fun and a little bit of a thrill.Vist to mountain hut and tasting of Highlanders cheese reflects you on the harsh reality of life in pass time. Also visiting the mountain mineral water drinking pavilion was interesting at different tastes . We highly recommend this trip. Thank you Thousand Miles and Mirek the best driver in the whole wide Krakow. PS it's worth all the money.

5.00We have had such a wonderful day doing the Dunajec River Rafting, the cable cars, the mineral water tasting etc. Would highly recommend this tour. Mirek, our guide was absolutely outstanding. Such a genuine nice man who could speak fluent English, great photographer and just very informative.
