5.00Our driver and tour helper, Simon, was great! Super helpful, knowledgeable and engaging. My only critique of the tour is that it was 4 hours and felt long. Could probably be cut down to 3 hours. Also, it says that there’s a boat on a lake, but the very small boat goes on a little river of shallow salt water for a total of maybe 5 minutes. I still thought it was a cool experience, but the marketing makes it sound different. Otherwise it was overall really interesting.

5.00We had a wonderful experience with this tour and thought it was well organized. The multi media presentations throughout the mine were informative and explained the history and operations of the mine. The train and boat ride were a fun addition to the experience. As an older couple, we had some difficulty with the stairs and amount of walking, however the paths are mostly flat and easy to walk on. Simon did a fabulous job explaining everything and answering our questions. He also accommodated my husband & I as we struggled with stairs and the amount of walking. We appreciate his kindness in assisting us.

5.00We throughly enjoyed this trip, it was informative and unique, how often do you ride on a mine train or use a mine lift. Lots of walking but well paced. The guide Majek had a good sense of humour. You get 45 minutes of free time to either enjoy some food, play games or use the Photo Booth. It’s only 5 pln, you can use props and it takes old looking photos. Tip: remember to dress for the underground temperature take a hoodie and wear long trousers especially if you want to ride the long wooden slide, it’s great fun!

3.00The taxi that took us was a car with very little space in it. We were not told we would be sharing the taxi. We felt that the mine tour involved a great deal of walking and fitness levels needed to be high. A few of the interactive displays were not working on the day. Overall we did still enjoy the trip.
A lot of waiting without lunch.

2.00A lot of waiting during the tour. We were picked up at the hotel at 10 AM and were back by 4 PM. There was no option for lunch. Not our way of traveling; we are disappointed with this tour and it was not worth the money.
