Simon our driver was great. The salt mines was interesting but I made the mistake that it's the not krakows famous salt mines Wieliczka. But it was quieter and there was a lift down and a lift up. Still a fair amount of walking underground. But would recommend if you want to experience the salt mines but don't like big crowds.

A nice way to spend the day. We were picked up from the hotel by Olaf our driver & guide and also later our translator. A short drive from Krakow is Bochnia and it’s worth the visit. A descent underground via the miners lift took us 220+ metres under the surface, a short walk and then a ride along on the train. There are lots of interactive information points and our mining guide kept us informed with extra bits & pieces of info which was expertly translated by Olaf. A reasonable little walk of around 4kms but where else can you ride a train and take a boat trip 200+ metres underground? Nice little restaurant half way through the tour serving reasonably priced snacks, meals and drinks so you will have the chance to refresh yourself. If you have the time book the trip and if you are lucky enough you will get Olaf who is filled with info & lots of chat. Highly recommended

The very interesting visit, our guide, Mirek, very nice, contacted me the night before to tell us the exact time, came to pick us up from the door of the hotel and drove us back to the center as per our request. He also took many beautiful photos and took the care to send them to us. Highly recommended!

Beautiful experience, visit to the salt mine very nice and interesting. The descent in the elevator is already exciting, then the route on the train, the channel traveled by boat and multimedia videos make you spend time in the galleries very quickly. Excellent organization of the tour and excellent exhibition accompanying driver: Margaret, always smiling and ready to answer our questions. An experience that I recommend.

Had a fantastic day we were picked up by a lovely chap called Merek and he spent day with us also as interpreter during our Salt mines trip. We explored the mines, took train rides and even boarded a boat as we were guided through the day with our guide’s expert knowledge none of this was scripted all information was directly passed on from the main tour guide himself and Merek did amazingly well to interpret. You could see quite clearly the main tour guides passion in his work.

This was honestly one of the best and also strangest most unique experiences. What made our time the best though was our amazing, funny guide Mirek. He was helpful, funny, motivating, took amazing photos and helped keep our energy up the whole time!! Also the pick up and drop off was really well communicated and Mirek was super flexible with it making the entire day from start to end enjoyable and stress free. We really have never experienced anything like this tour, it was so interesting. Recommend booking it and requesting Mirek as your guide! From Anna and Taylah

Our host and driver Merek was excellent. What a lovely man and had excellent English - he really tried to translate through the whole tour. He actually made the tour more enjoyable as we booked the wrong salt mines and this was not what we were expecting. The mines were interesting and we enjoyed our day.

The company was very good with communication and the tour guide also ensured great communication. It was also nice we had a small group (only 7) we were able to meet up at the salt mine so that worked very well. They were very accommodating .

Maciek was an absolutely fantastic host and more than looked after us throughout the entire day. He went out of his way to make our experience as good as possible and we can’t thank him enough. I’m sure it wouldn’t have been the same without him. Salt mines were great - lots of walking. Brilliant slide, train & boat ride!
