Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy)
The tour starts on Castle Square, in front of the tall central tower of Royal Castle.
King Sigismund's Column (Kolumna Zygmunta)
The column monument was founded in 1644 by King Władysław IV from the Vasa dynasty. He had it built to commemorate his father King Sigismund III. King Sigismund was truly important for Warsaw. You would probably have never heard about this city if he hadn’t made the decision to move the royal court and the capital state from Cracow to Warsaw in 1598.

Nice tour to find out more about the old town

5.00I had some problems with download first, but the support was great and I'm very satisfied overall. For the price it's a great way to learn about the old parts of the city. I walked through those parts of the city before, but when you hear all the facts, you look at it in a new way.
