Tours Maputo offers a Kruger experience of the highest quality. Clients are picked up in Maputo and taken in air-conditioned comfort to the Kruger Park gate. Our driver assists travellers with the border processes.
Once at the Kruger Gate travellers change to the unique open-backed safari vehicle and the experienced and accredited nature guide takes guests on an unforgettable and education experience with sightings of the Big Five frequent in this populated area of the park.
At the end of the day we bring travellers safely back to Maputo after a long but truly exhilarating day

5.00We had the best safari experience we have ever had! Charles and Doctor were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Charles made the transport so smooth and comfortable—he was incredibly punctual, thoughtful, and even prepared lovely snacks for us along the way. Doctor is a true legend of the park. His knowledge of the animals, their behaviours, and exactly where to go was unbelievable. He made the whole experience so engaging, fun, and entertaining that the time flew by without us realising. We learned so much and laughed so much—he genuinely made the safari unforgettable (along with the incredible animals, of course!). The food was delicious, the organisation was flawless, and the whole day felt effortless thanks to how well everything was handled. We highly, highly recommend this experience to anyone considering a safari. Don’t hesitate—book it! We hope to be back very soon.

5.00If you’re looking for a safe, comfortable and reliable tour while in Mozambique book it with Tours Maputo! Their service is excellent from start to finish! They will answer your questions within minutes via emails or WhatsApp, their payment method is safe and they will provide you with detailed informations about your tour and chauffeur. We did a day trip tour from Maputo to the Kruger park and our experience has been amazing thanks to our chauffeur Charles! He was very friendly, spoke very good English and drove safely. The vehicle we used had reclined seats which allowed us to sleep. We were treated to water bottles and a cute little basket with treats that we could take with us during the safari which made our experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, we saw many animals in the park. This has been truly my favorite day of this holiday. I highly recommend Tours Maputo!!! Thanks again to the whole team!!!

5.00It was an unforgettable experience seeing so many animals up close in their natural environment. Our guide was incredibly motivated and took us to the best spots for amazing wildlife viewing. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at one of the park’s base camp restaurants. The transportation from Mozambique to South Africa was smooth and well-organized, and crossing the border went perfectly with our multiple-entry Mozambican visa. Overall, it was an exceptional and memorable day — I highly recommend this tour!

5.00Wonderful to see so many elephants, giraffes, impalas and hippos. We missed seeing more lions, we only saw one female and we didn’t get to see any rhinos or any jaguars, but it is definitely worth it. We went in summer and this was very dry; I imagine in rainy weather the landscape and rivers will be even more spectacular.

5.00A lovely tour and quick, easy way to see Kruger and fabulous animals just few hours from Maputo! Just as the description details, we left around 5am, had a very smooth ride in a very comfortable van, and arrived to the park around 7:30/8:00am. Our driver, Charles, was great in navigating the way and helping us through immigration (leaving Mozambique and entering South Africa - two separate processes; be sure to bring your visa with receipt and passport). We met our safari driver, Valencia, at the Crocodile Bridge entrance of Kruger. She was very knowledgeable and helped show us so many animals - elephants, zebras, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, impala, birds, and a pack of lionesses. The tour includes lunch at a restaurant (Bean & Mugg) - note that the lunch doesn't cover alcohol (purchase on your own). There's a small souvenir shop there as well. The drive back took a bit longer - longer lines at the border/immigration offices and more traffic on the road. Was a wonderful day!
