Well organized trip and prepared and nice guide. The castle and the bazaar are interesting... castle museum very nice... unfortunately we had a very rainy day with bad weather. So it depends a lot on the weather. Even the visit to the mountain was ruined by bad weather. However, we recommend the trip because it is very linked to Albanian history and folklore.

Visiting Kruja was a very special experience. Even with the rain, which eventually prevented you from fully appreciating the landscapes, the walk was worth every minute. The city has a unique historical atmosphere, and walking through the castle and the ancient bazar is like going back in time. An absolute highlight was our guide, Bledi. In addition to being extremely friendly, he led the group with professionalism, lightness and good mood, making the day much more pleasant despite the weather. His clear and curious explanations enriched the experience and compensated for what time did not allow to see.

I joined the 03/01 Krujë Castle, Old Bazaar & Sari Salltik View tour and overall it was a very pleasant and interesting experience. Krujë is a beautiful and historically important destination, offering a strong sense of Albanian culture and identity. The highlights of the trip were definitely Krujë Castle and its museums. Learning about Albania’s national hero, Skanderbeg, and visiting the Ethnographic Museum inside a traditional Ottoman house gave a deep insight into local history and daily life. Walking through the Old Bazaar was also a lovely experience, with its cobblestone streets, traditional handicrafts, and authentic atmosphere. Even in January, the area was lively and ideal for photos. Our guide Bledi, only 23 years old, was very kind, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout the day. He was always willing to answer questions and assist the group. Everything was well organized and the schedule was respected. However, at times it was a bit difficult for him to fully manage and control the group, especially when people were moving at different paces. That said, his positive attitude and friendliness made the experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, the rainy weather limited the views and outdoor time, especially at scenic points, but this was clearly beyond anyone’s control. Overall, it was a worthwhile day trip to a historic town with great character. I would definitely recommend it to travelers who want to explore Albania’s history and traditional atmosphere.

Even though the weather was not the best, the day was totally memorable. The castle, the market and even the food were amazing. Totally recommend. P.S. Mr driver is really a professional considering the weather he had to face.
