A fascinating and highly unique experience. Visiting the remains of a former Soviet hospital and almost sensing the ghosts of the past will remain lodged in my memory. Travelling on and learning about the cable cars was truly memorable. The Katskhi Pillar was awesome inspiring. Our guide Tengo was exceptional. He was informed yet made it constantly interesting and entertaining. He also has a wonderful sense of humour that I really connect with. Thoroughly recommended.

The tour of the ruins of the mining city under Russian rule and the cable car experience were unique. And, of course, Katzpilar!! The Tengo instructions in our guide are also easy to understand and recommended! If you come all the way from Tbilisi to Kutaisi, I highly recommend you to join.

I visited Chiatura with BFT Group in December 2025, and it was a great experience. The tour was well organized, and our guide Mr. Tango was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us amazing local and abandoned spots. Highly recommended, especially for solo travelers!

Tip was excellent. Tango is a real pro. We visited Holly places and been to numerous abodoned buildings of the soviet era, making the trip much different than other tours.

The tengo guide Is very nice and talkative. We had a girl who liked who liked urbex stuff, so he changed the plan so we could go see some. He also talked about tchiatura and took us to some places that weren’t in the plan but on the way. This one is probably my last tour in Georgia, and I would’ve liked to have him with me on my other tours.
