The Cathedral of Assumption
Your first stop will be the formerly biggest Cistercian abbey in Central Europe with the stunning Gothic and Baroque Gothic Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady and Saint John the Baptist. You can admire work of extremely talented architect Jan Blažej Santini Aichl, who is responsible for renovation of the cathedral. Your guide will point out unique architectonical features as you walk through the church.
The Cemetery Church of All Saints with the Ossuary
Just few steps from the cathedral lies the Cemetery Church of All Saint with the Ossuary. Learn why and how the Ossuary was created and see the amazing art pieces made of human bones. Sedlec Ossuary is a place where human bones are the one and only decoration.

5.00A great way to see and learn Czech history beyond Prague. The fact that silver was found in and around this town gave Czech the wealth it needed to become and important European country. AND the Bone Chapel is so interesting!

5.00Honza "Jack" was a superb guide on our day-long excursion to Kutna Hora. His extensive knowledge about the Czech Republic and its history (and his excellent English skills) made for a very informative and interesting tour. We had a delicious lunch with Jack at a local restaurant with traditional food. Thank you, Jack, for a very memorable day on our vacation!

5.00We had a wonderful day exploring Kutna Hora with Jack. This was a tour we had to cancel in 2020 because of Covid and had a voucher to use for this trip. Explore Prague was wonderful to deal with and honoured our voucher without charging us the difference in the cost of the tour. We were really impressed by this and shows the honesty of this company. With respect to our tour of Kutna Hora, Jack met us outside of our accommodation in Prague before taking the train to Hutna Hora and providing us with information about all of the sites we visited throughout the day. It was terrific value for money and we really enjoyed Jack's knowledge and humour throughout the day. We would 100% recommend this tour to others and wouldn't hesitate to book another tour with Explore Prague if we have the privilege of returning to Prague one day.

5.00Jack was so great to spend the day with! He shared a lot of knowledge and even took the time to work our interests into the tour! We were especially glad to be traveling with Jack in regards of a train derailment in Kolin, which affected our plans getting back but he made sure we arrived back at Prague safely. Thanks for a great experience Jack!

5.00We Did a private tour with Petra She picked us up from our hotel and we made our way to Kunta Hora together by train and bus Petra was our guide She explained the history behind everything we saw and answered all of our Questions We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant and had an amazing meal All in all it was a highlight of our trip . Our Guide Petra was so easy to talk to , her English was amazing Great Job Petra , a fabulous tour guide 🩷
