*The Shared Plan is a group session with other guests.

What To Expect
We are a Japanese cultural experience facility for international guests. The tea ceremony is a traditional Japanese practice of serving matcha, where every movement, utensil, and space encourages mindfulness and respect for the moment. *All guidance and explanations are provided in English. *The Shared Plan is a group session with other guests. *To maintain a calm atmosphere, guests with children under 5 years old or requiring an interpreter must book the Private Plan. If booked incorrectly under the Shared Plan, participation and refunds will not be possible. *We do not offer standard kimono rental or dressing services. but an optional Uchikake (coat-style kimono) experience is available for ¥1,500 (tax included). Please inform our staff on the day. Advance reservations are not accepted, and Quantities is limited. *The tea ceremony is held in a serene atmosphere and to avoid disturbing other guests, please note: ・Please bring or wear socks during the experience. ・Entry is allowed from 5 minutes before the start time. ・Once the session begins, the door will be locked. Even 1 minute late entry means you can not join and no refunds will be given.

5.00We learned history and the importance of the tea ceremony. The hosts were amazing making sure we were educated and had fun at the same time. Such a great experience. Would highly recommend if you’re in Kyoto.

5.00The ceremony is more than just matcha. It's about understanding the philosophy behind. The tea master has also explained the history before the ceremony developed to what we see nowadays. I chose to absorb the whole ceremony in my mind instead of photos. The experience is not something replaceable.

5.00Such a neat experience however if sitting cross legged or kneeling isn’t on your repertoire you may want to think twice! We definitely were fidgety and trying to find different ways of sitting on the floor!
