It was a very immersive experience. They explained the samurai tradition, the tea ceremony, and helped us with the attire. The staff was very friendly at all times and were even very patient with my father, who is elderly and uses a cane. Honestly, if I return to Kyoto, I wouldn't hesitate to come back with my wife or friends.

Such a cool experience! The process of getting into the traditional gear was a highlight, but what really stuck with me was the weight of it all. You gain a whole new level of respect for the samurai when you realize they had to fight in such heavy equipment. If you’re in Kyoto, don't miss this—it’s immersive, educational, and very well done.

It was a fantastic experience to get a glimpse of the samurai life with full on armour and katana. It felt great to walk around in the armour and swing the katana. As a bonus we also got to learn the matcha making and little bit of caligraphy. They also gave the fan with our caligraphy writing as a gift while leaving.
