This was one of our favorite activities in Japan! We got to wear what a samurai would wear, see a master swordsman use the Katana, & then use it ourselves. It was such an authentic, once in a lifetime experience. Loved it!

Great experience feeling authentic but accessible for tourists. Small groups meant it wasn’t overcrowded and everyone got instructions. Took brilliant photos on a high quality camera that were shared a few hours later. Take note to get there 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time in order to get into the clothes. It started dead on time, even those who arrived on time or even 5 mins early had a rush to get changed and had to listen to the start whilst changing.

Absolutely loved this experience, beautiful house, lovely staff, wonderful experience. Enjoyed the whole activity, from dressing as a samurai to using an 120 year old sword. Very informative and respectful.

Very comprehensive afternoon learning about the samurai life in a traditional home. Learnt about warfare and the history of the samurai. Understanding the use of the samurai sword is one of precision rather than strength

My guy friends and I are touring Japan and wanted a unique experience. The team at Samurai Experience who taught about the Samurai were excellent and it was very safe and fun. I appreciated the Zen meditation after the Samurai demonstration.
