I booked this because I wanted a samurai experience, and it did not disappoint. It was an incredible experience. I recommend trying this if you visit Osaka. The staff was very friendly, and you learn a lot about their culture. They teach you how to properly use a samurai sword, and you get to practice. Make sure you arrive on time to avoid delaying the rest of the group.

Loved the whole experience from having the opportunity to wear samurai attire, hearing about the life of a samurai warrior, watching a warrior display his expertise with his sword, practising the movements with a wooden sword, taking part in an exercise with a real sword and finally hearing about the use of the different size swords. The hosts were very professional and informative and at the end of the experience we were sent a number of photos as a momento of our day.

Top-notch welcome with plenty of staff speaking English and immediately setting the mood for us. Locals share their art with us: music, meditation, and of course, mastery of the katana. Learning a few movements and training on foam (not on bamboo). Overall, a balanced and authentic experience that allows one to step into the life of a samurai.

What a unique and bad ass experience!!! We had the BEST time EVER! I booked this as a birthday gift to my husband - This was the one experience he specifically stated that he’d love to do, if we ever visited Japan. It exceeded his expectations. They are extremely kind, courageous, fun and knowledgeable.

A truly unique and authentic experience that starts from the history of the samurai (by the way, in a real samurai residence) and culminates in a practical test with the katana! Friendly staff and the master was very attentive and well-prepared! Credit also goes to the photography service.

I visited on April 8th. We had a very fun and valuable experience! I was the only Japanese, and the other seven or eight were all foreigners. The explanations were basically in English, but it was very helpful to have a staff explaining in Japanese for me. They said they were new and nervous, but I was impressed by how hard they explained it and I hope they feel confident because it was easy to understand! I'd like to ask him again when he's here. The trial-cutting experience was really valuable, and there was an indescribable exhilaration when it cut off quickly under the easy-to-understand guidance of the master. I can’t forget the feeling of concentrating when I do the cutting action, and since I came back to Tokyo I have started researching the dojo. lol Hospitality is great and I would recommend it to my friends Thank you for your time.
