What To Expect
Bogota
Just 1 hour and 20 minutes from Bogotá, in the municipality of Choachí, is the imposing Cascada La Chorrera, the highest in Colombia and the sixth in South America, at 590 meters high. An ideal destination for those looking to connect with nature and enjoy a hike between mountains.
Cascada La Chorrera
Start of the Tour We will pick you up from your hotel or place of stay in Bogota to start the journey through mountainous landscapes, traditional crops and lush vegetation. Before arriving at the imposing waterfall of La Chorrera, we will pass through El Chiflón, a beautiful waterfall of 59 meters of fall and ludar of crystal clear waters and place where returning from our strenuous hike we will have lunch to enjoy the noise of the water when falling and the beautiful landscape while enjoying a delicious dish of the region. Final destination: La Chorrera Waterfall We will follow the trail to the majestic main waterfall, where you will feel the force of the water and the energy of the environment.

5.00I am an old man, I made it , I seen El chiflon and El Chorrera waterfalls , I maybe misspelled there. But the driver was good, the guide was good. It was a nice day to go do a strenuous hike in the mountains. I certainly would recommend it, but being old, idk, I need to retire.

He was very communicative before picking me up to ensure that I was with the right tour. He also provided great facts along the way of the hike!

5.00The tour was outstanding. Juan Carlos medicine our hotel right on time. After a beautiful 1 hour drive we arrived at the start of the hiking. The hike was relatively strenuous around 6 miles round trip with lots of climbs and gorgeous scenery. Both waterfalls were amazing. Juan was very supportive and took great pictures. We stopped for delicious lunch and even a Mojito on the way back. Highly recommends this hike, would recommend hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers is the path is well maintained but there are rocks and some narrow sections. Definitely worth the trip!

5.00We had a great time with our guide Juan Carlos. We went during the dry season so the waterfall wasn’t quite as raging as the photos, but it was still beautiful. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick nature escape!
