Discover the flavours of the Algarve’s wine and gastronomy with a 2-hour tour at one of the region's most iconic wineries.

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed for a guided tour of the vineyard, where you'll learn about the wines from the Algarve’s Demarcated Wine Region and their production processes.

Next, enjoy a unique tasting that includes:

● 4 quality wines from the estate, including 3 harvests and 1 reserve.

● Delicious gourmet local tapas, freshly prepared for each pairing.

● Live music, creating an authentic and immersive atmosphere.

At the end of the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase wines and other regional products directly from our shop.

For your convenience, you can opt for transport with pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation. This allows you to relax and enjoy the experience to the fullest. Alternatively, you can make your own way to the winery by selecting the option without included transport.

What To Expect

Explore the Algarve wine region from a passionate and distinctive perspective. Choose to journey to the estate independently or comfortably board our Happy Van from your hotel or accommodation for a 2-hour wine tour. Select between a private tour for your group or join an open public tour with a small group. Upon arrival at the local winery, embark on a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar, discovering their unique wines and the process behind them in the Demarcated Region of the Algarve. Subsequently, indulge in a tasting of 4 delightful red, white, or rosé wines, impeccably paired with local tapas. Meanwhile, enjoy the live Portuguese music performed on-site. At the conclusion, you'll have the opportunity to purchase bottles of wine and other local products as souvenirs.

We really enjoyed our wine–food pairing at Algarve Gourmet. The whole experience felt warm, charming and authentic. Paulo is a jovial host: an entertainer pur sang and a fantastic storyteller who effortlessly takes you into the history and culture of the Algarve. In the kitchen, Gorete conjures up one surprise after another. Her dishes are refined, flavorful and bring together a wide variety of flavors. Each dish tells a piece of the story of the Algarve — and by extension, the whole of Portugal. Through the combination of delicious dishes, carefully chosen wines and the captivating explanation of Paulo, we made a culinary journey that was both educational and particularly pleasant. An absolute must for those who want to discover the Algarve in an authentic and tasteful way.

This is not to be missed. We had an incredible afternoon with Paulo and Gorete. Paulo has an incredible and powerful voice and shares a bit of Portuguese music culture and Gorete prepares such wonderful tapas. These two are a great team. Be prepared to buy some culinary delights as you will want to take a memory of this day with you. Paulo was so open and explained much about the wines of the Algarve - there is not enough for export so enjoy while you are here. A highlight of our trip, for sure.
Nice intimate wine and tapas tasting! A bonus was the lovely music.

Getting to venue is not easy. Make sure you arrange with Uber driver to take you up the dirt track road otherwise it’s a long dusty walk! Ensure they collect you from big house as well. Experience was so enjoyable. Wines paired perfectly with the local food. Nice company too. Highly recommend this 2 hour visit.
