What To Expect
Lahij - ancient village in Ismailly region.This medieval town with cobbled streets and squares is one of the most famous in the Caucasus and beyond its trade and shopping centers. Skilled potters and wood carvers make articles of copper, leather, embossing here. Especially Lagich is famous for manufactured cold steel and copper utensils, decorated with engraved ornament. And to this day there are a dozen workshops, where hereditary blacksmiths in the eyes of astonished tourists make various household items. The very first quarter of Lahic was laid in the III-IV centuries. It is curious that the city has a water supply and sewerage system, which is no less than 1,500 years! None of the residents know where the sewerage starts and where it ends, and by what principle it works, which does not prevent the collector from functioning for many centuries. Now Lagich is a historical and architectural monument, protected by the state and the appearance of the settlement is preserved in its original form

4.00I came to Azerbaijan for 5 days and decided to take a trip to Lahij. The way to village was dangerous but it is worth to see Lahij. It’s place, old streets, bath make the village attractive. Especially if you have a guide who knows his job and has a good sense of humor. Our guide Anar did not let us to get bored till the end of trip ))

5.00I am interested in ancient places and before coming to Azerbaijan I found that there is a village called Lahij. So after search I found trip to Lahij from Jintravel. Though it was a day trip I liked it very much. Everything was planned great. Car, timing, visiting Lahij etc. My guide was Habib and he knew his job. Would recommend this company to anyone. Thanks to Habib and other members of Jintravel.
