My guide Maria was amazing! She spoke in English for myself and Spanish for my travel companion. We enjoyed visiting the different towns. Our favourite Was San Juan la Laguna. Seeing the colourful street with umbrellas, honey, weaving & a religious celebration. So much culture in the one place! We were originally looking at going across to one of the towns on our own but it was going to be expensive for us to travel each way. This tour was cheaper than just the boat charges we were quoted by local water taxis. I believe it was better value for money to book with the tour. I also wouldn’t have learnt about the culture from the knowledge shared by our guide. The only thing potentially that could be changed is including a tuk tuk ride in the final location within the price of the tour. Thank you Maria for such a wonderful day together!

Good thing it was cheap only 35USD, they didn’t start on time. The stops were to sell things. Lots of standing around. They had us pay an additional Q35 per person in Santiago just to ride the tuktuk. I know for a fact we could’ve gotten the tuktuk cheaper for those 4 stops. But it was a money grab IMO. The tour guide said if I don’t want to pay for the tuktuk I can go explore on my own, I paid y’all to take a tour, if I wanted to go on my own I would have done that. The bee stop has lots of bees “they don’t sting but they bite”.

It was a boat trip to two towns on the other side of the lake. Most of the time was spent walking through the streets visiting churches, local market with fresh fruits and vegetables and lots of shops lining 6he streets. Each street was beautifully decorated. Our guide spoke both English and Spanish. We several factories making local textiles, honey and orginal paintings. The tour lasted 6.5 hours which included a stop for lunch at a local restaurant. That cost was not included.

Interesting but too fast and commercial . Large group. Es and EN language tour makes it too slow. More culture and traditions explanations would have been better

Great tour. Visited two towns. Worth the money for an afternoon on the lake and also to explore the area. Also enjoyed the locals telling us about the honey, chocolate, etc.
