If you are interested in monasteries, most of the time was spent at the ski lift, zip line, and lunch leaving about 30 min only at the historical sights. Very long day.

I took this tour on June 1, 2025. The tour started on time, and the bus was comfortable throughout the journey. Our guide was friendly, though at times seemed to struggle a bit with English. Since it was a Sunday, all the sites were very crowded with weddings and local field trips, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. I would recommend booking this tour on a weekday if you prefer a quieter atmosphere. The highlight of the day was Lake Sevan—absolutely beautiful and easily my favorite stop on the tour.

It seems that I have booked through a third party on tripadvisor and not the actual company that undertakes the tour. Besides being charged a high premium/commission (in comparison to what the actual company charges directly), the itinerary information is wrong as there places and times missing. The worst is that they made a mistake and while we were a family of four, the company that does the tour, was informed about only two people, so we couldn't take the tour!! That was a huge dissapointment and an anxiety and frustration inducing development. Nobody had an explanation for what happened. The last second before departure, due to a cancellation, they managed to fit as in a tight mini bus. I have a photo that the organizers representatives held, showing only 2 instead of 4 that we booked and paid for.

The tour was wonderful. Very in depth and interesting, Jasmine was our guide and she was able to answer every question we asked! Full of knowledge and information and worked hard to provide small tours at each destination for both English speaking guests and Russian. The transport was comfortable enough and water was provided. An optional boat tour was offered at lake Sevan which was a little underwhelming. The tour overall was interesting and Jasmine was very friendly and approachable so a wonderful way to explore some unique parts of Armenia.

I had done a tour of Yerevan already and wanted to get out and see the country. This turned out to be the perfect way to do it. The guide, Ana, was extremely knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. The driving was a bit hairy but I think that's just a thing here in Armenia. The two lakes were spectacular and the monasteries were extremely interesting. Food stop was also a lot of fun and I got to try a few new things.
