What To Expect
Emerald Bay State Park
Emerald Bay the second most photographed place in the United States. This is a beautiful stop. In the winter time it can be closed due to avalanches. But most of the year, Around Tahoe Tours puts you right in the perfect spots at Emerald Bay. Take photographs, hear the stories and see the Bay. No parking and Walking, just enjoying Emerald Bay. We will see Inspiration Point, Eagle Falls, Fannett Island, and the Vikingsholm.
Meeks Bay Beach
This is seasonal stop. Open from May 15th through October 15th. This is a beautiful little white sand beach. Great swimming spot on Lake Tahoe and a wonderful little resort with cabins and houses for rent as well as RV camping and tent camping. There's a general store here and good bathrooms.

5.00Friends first time to Lake Tahoe. Chris was our guide and he provided rich information about the Lake and its history. Chris knows how to weave storytelling into the day and also uses audio to illustrate his points. It's very well done. We made about 10 stops-each unique. The drive around the lake including lunch was about 7 hours. Knowing where to stop, how to find parking, and the hidden treasure spots along the journey could only be realized with a guide with many years of experience in Tahoe. In addition, Chris is a professional photographer and is happy to take your photo along the journey.

5.00Our family spent the day driving around Lake Tahoe with our tour guide Mark. Mark went out of his way to drive around Fallen Leaf Lake, even though this isn't an area he has taken tours to in the past (my wife wanted to see it since that's where her family used to go camping). We learned a lot about Tahoe history along the trip as well, which made the sightseeing more interesting. Thanks Mark for a fun day!

5.00Mark was incredible. What a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday with five of my closest friends who planned this. The views were spectacular, Mark was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was so considerate and solicitous of us all, especially me, taking the winding roads slowly and helping me and out of the van. He had a ton of stories and pointed out everything we could possibly enjoy seeing. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

5.00Mark was amazing. Right on time and very educational throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend this tour because I could t imagine trying to drive this myself and listen to an app. So much to see. I also got to experience an excursion the following day with Mark and his CanAm side by side through the desert mountains where the prospectors searched for gold. Very exciting.
Don't pass up this fantastic tour of Lake Tahoe!

5.00We enjoyed every minute of this tour! Darin was a fantastic tour guide! He had a wealth of information on the history and folklore of Lake Tahoe. We saw more scenery and sights on this tour than we could possibly have seen on our own. The tour was worth every penny! Highly recommend!
