What To Expect
Emerald Bay State Park
Emerald Bay the second most photographed place in the United States. This is a beautiful stop. In the winter time it can be closed due to avalanches. But most of the year, Around Tahoe Tours puts you right in the perfect spots at Emerald Bay. Take photographs, hear the stories and see the Bay. No parking and Walking, just enjoying Emerald Bay. We will see Inspiration Point, Eagle Falls, Fannett Island, and the Vikingsholm.
Meeks Bay Beach
This is seasonal stop. Open from May 15th through October 15th. This is a beautiful little white sand beach. Great swimming spot on Lake Tahoe and a wonderful little resort with cabins and houses for rent as well as RV camping and tent camping. There's a general store here and good bathrooms.

5.00It was a fabulous fun filled day either way lots of stops and education along the way. Our tour guide Mark was very friendly, uplifting, knowledge and accommodating. He was fun! The only not so nice surprise which had nothing to with Mark was that about 1 week before our tour I was informed by the company that there would be a $25 USD extra charge for hotel pick up even though when I booked it 6 months prior our hotel was included in their pick up area and on my receipt.

5.00I would highly recommend this van tour around Lake Tahoe. Chris was an excellent driver/guide. We made several scheduled and nonscheduled stops along the way and Chris was very patient with us “seniors”! He was very knowledgeable on the history and fun facts of the lake. Had a delicious lunch along the way. The views were amazing! Very happy we made the trip! Thanks Chris!

5.00Nice tour that goes all the way around Lake Tahoe. We stopped at several areas to take beautiful photos. We stopped for lunch at a neat deli that had good food - both for vegetarians and meat lovers. Our tour guide was Mark. The nicest guy and filled with info about the history of the area. He is also filled with Dad Jokes - but that just made it more fun! Highly recommend.
