Gobustan Rock Art
1) Modern interactive Museum In the Museum, you will find perfectly selected exhibitions with the use of the most modern technology that will help you learn the meaning of petroglyphs (rock paintings). In 11 exhibition halls, (the Halls are equipped with 3D panoramas, touch screens) there is a huge collection of priceless historical exhibits, interesting for both adults and children. 2) An open air Museum In mountains of Gobustan Beyukdash there were concentrated witnesses of the past of azerbaijanian nation of the epoch of Stone Age and ongoing periods – rocky paintings, camp of man, tombstones and etc. The most significant of them are rocky pictures – petroglyphs, carved by primitive men on walls of caves, rocks and stony lumps. The aforesaid primitive monuments of art reflect culture, economy, world outlook, customs and traditions of ancient azerbaijanian peoples.

5.00Almost six months have passed, and it is with great gratitude and admiration that I recall my trip to Azayrbaijan, the city of Baku in January 2023. I still have a lot of great impressions and pictures. And I'm especially lucky to have a very professional guide, Diana Damir. A true specialist and a man who loves his homeland with all his heart. Every place we go, we perceive it through the people who help us shape the country. And it is very important to feel the attitude of a person who broadcasts not only important historical information but also his emotions. I recommend that everyone visit beautiful, hospitable, bright, sunny, delicious, wonderful Azerbaijan. It's a fairytale country with centuries of history. And at the same time with a very high level of modern service. Thank you!

5.00My trip to Azerbaijan took place from 6 to 12 October 2019, completely by chance for me. I can't remember how I decided to go there. But I can say for sure that the city of Baku and Azerbaijan have exceeded all my expectations. And Azerbaijan is now in the top of my best trips. To a large extent, this is due to the people working for AzTerra Travel, with whom I spent most of my time in Azerbaijan, who could give advice and information on any issue. Manager Victoria Rilova helped to decide on the tour and to process all the documents, not answering all the questions quickly and substantively. Thank you so much for your professionalism! I want to express my gratitude to my guide Arif. His incredible charm and encyclopaedic knowledge, which he shares with such love and pride for his country, are simply admirable! I'm really glad I had such a guide! My trip to the regions of Azerbaijan was "made" by driver Elshad Huseynov. Elshad's driving professionalism instilled confidence and a sense of absolute security from the outset. And his tactfulness, courtesy, courtesy and role as an interpreter made our three-day trip perfectly comfortable. I also want to thank the drivers of Famil and Elnour, with whom we went on excursions and to the airport and from the airport, and who eagerly shared with me their knowledge of their region and its inhabitants. Azerbaijan is an incredibly warm and hospitable country that energizes you with its solar energy and wants to go back to.

5.00I visit Gobustan in Nov 2017, the place is wonderful and the weather was really good had a wonderful time there, the place is well organized, support there was really good, we had our own guide, and she was really patient and showed us all around

5.00We took two excursions - to Gobustan/Mud Volcanoes and Ateshgah/Gala/Yanardag. I would say, we liked Gobustan better - wonderful views, very special places - like mud volcanoes. We took economy option - the driver was very helpful, and particularly assisted us in organizing trip to mud volcanoes. The thing which needs improvement (but it is rather suggestion not to the company, but to Azerbaijan authorities) - is the road to mud volcanoes. Basically, there is no normal road, you can reach them only by bumpy trip with old soviet enduring cars, like "Zhiguli" and you have to pass some places full of rubbish. Overall, Azerbaijan is very clean and innovative country and this road differed from very clean and developed Baku and other places of interest.
