The short, sweet Langtang Valley Trek is a Himalayan classic. It is a less-trafficked, but equally stunning alternative to the Everest and Annapurna regions. Considered a sacred area, the Langtang Valley holds countless cultural and natural wonders. Also, Langtang National Park, established in 1976, is Nepal’s first protected Himalayan area, meaning that wildlife is in abundance and species such as the Himalayan black bear, the Himalayan tahr and more are found inside park. Trek through Tamang villages up to the secluded Langtang Valley. Be met with heart-warming hospitality before making a final push to reaching Kyanjin Ri (4773 meters/15,659 feet), where we witness an astonishing 360-degree panorama of over 21 snow-capped peaks.

What To Expect
Plenty to explore in Kyanjin Gompa, including the monastery and one of Nepal’s oldest Swiss cheese factories, (which you’ll be delighted to sample!) Day 02: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2340m), 5-6 hours. Day 03: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3480m), 5-6 hours. Day 04: Trek from Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m), 4 hours. Day 05: Exploration/Day Hikes around Langtang Valley. Day 06: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2340m), 6-7 hours. Day 07: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi via Sherpa Gaon, 5-6 hours. Day 08: Drive back from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu by bus.

5.00Our Lanngtang hike with Breeze was an unforgettable experience! After a long search, I had chosen Breeze Adventures as the local agency for our Nepal trip and never regretted the decision. The contact by email was always friendly and honest and with short response times and without being intrusive. Everything went very well in Nepal too! Airport pickup, hotel, organization of hike etc. have worked to my complete satisfaction. For this purpose, Raj was assigned to us a very suitable guide for my family (children 12 and 15 years) and it was a great pleasure every day to tackle the next stage. Even with high demand for beds, we have always received one of the best rooms available and Raj knew the Langtang region like his back pocket. If I go to Nepal again I will definitely book again with Breeze Adventures.

5.00Our first time trekking in Nepal, we were concerned about our fitness, but Kishwor designed a trek that perfectly suited our time and abilities. We added on Gosainkunda Lake to make an 11 day trek. Raz, our guide, was supportive and very knowledgeable of the area. We had a porter, too, which was an absolute game changer, Failama seemingly effortlessly carried our big bags, allowing us to fully enjoy the spectacular scenery of these two treks. I can't rate Breeze Adventures high enough. We were provided with an excellent guide and had a superb trip. It helped that the weather was absolutely perfect so we had incredible views of the mountain ranges and lakes. Thank you for making our first trek so memorable

The journey to Langtang Valley and Kyanjin Ri left us with many beautiful memories. The stunning mountain views, local villages, and cheese factory visit were highlights of the trip.
