• Cable car tour around

  Our tour guide grace was not fully prepared and organized. What really off put us was that she asked for a tip right away and to give her a 5 star review right off the bat. When it came to the cable car she left us to go in the faster line. We also did everything backwards, so we did the cable cars last. She kept losing everyone throughout the tour and the whole thing was very unorganized and she kept trying upsell things. We did not get the tour option with the boat which is fine we were just left alone on the island wandering around. We got some great pictures. She also said if we’d give her a 5 star review we’d get money off the next we book a tour with her.

  Grace our guide was hilarious and very considerate of everyone. If fishing village isn’t your thing get the cable car both ways. The bus trip does give you more perspective the terrain of the island

  We received full information before the day from our host Grace. The trip was very interesting and fun and interesting and great interaction between host and guests. The experience was great and the atmosphere was fun The visit to the fish market and boat trip was very enjoyable unfortunately the weather was cold and windy making the boat trip shorter. The Big Buddha was very nice and the host explained all about the site and history of Buddhism in a lighthearted way The gondola return was ruined by part of the group having speedy Crystal passes and my group of 6 having Standard and having to wait 45mins longer for a minimal extra cost I suggest all guests have Crystal passes in future All in all a great experience.😎

  MUST DO!!! Our leader, Grace, was AMAZING! The night before, she contacted us and made it very clear where to meet. I really appreciated that because it allows you to have her contact info just incase something went wrong before it even started. It was really easy to meet up, and from that point, throughout the entire experience, she made clear what the plan was and always kept count to make sure no one got lost. Everything was seamless from catching the train and bus, to exploring the various sites. Note that it is a full day activity. You meet at 9am and dont finish until around 4pm...and then have a 30min train ride back to the city (dont worry, the train ride is super easy to do yourself...not like riding trains in Tokyo or NYC). it is possible, however, to leave early if you need...in fact there were people who left early (ex: after lunch, instead of spending an hour looking at the Buddha and walking around, they just spent 10min and then rode the cable car back down to the train station).

  Guide was very attentive to make sure participants were at the departing point and she went out her way to provide detailed instructions and guiding pictures. She was superb.

  Great trip to see the big Buddha (bit crowded) where we had a substantial lunch included, then took the chair lift down with fantastic views of the airport and the Macau tunnel. Great guide and passed lots of interesting places which he described well on the way.

  Our family joined Lantau island ! Our tour guide fun and acknowledgable ! Tai O fishing village good place ! Big buddha was amazing. We took cable car can see full view of Ngong Ping , Tung Chung and airport view fantastic! Highly recommended this tour !

  This is an exceptional trip and our guide was terrific. Going to see the "Big Buddha" was amazing, and the gondola ride/cable car back to the train station was incredible. That plus the trip through the Tai O fishing village was really a great way to get better acquainted with the area around Hong Kong.
