First, this was a very fun tour. I highly recommend it. Second, Grace was terrific, very animated, very informative in a light-hearted way, and very organized. She even sent us a video of exactly how to proceed step by step to the meeting lace to start the tour. We were in good hands and had a very enjoyable day.

Grace was an amazing guide, and navigated the New Year’s Day crowds like a pro. Her upbeat personality kept us smiling.

Excellent experience to visit the Big Buddha and also Tai O village if you have a day free while visiting Hong Kong, thoroughly recommended. However, in my case, the group was too big and the guide was taking so much time with logistical organisation that she had only a little time share her obvious knowledge. Also the time at village was too short and rushed, such a shame because ai loved the experience of being there.

Grace was the highlight of the tour. She has tons of energy and kept our group of 29 together & happy. The trip to Lantau is lengthy, train to meeting spot, public bus to Tai O. Once there a chance hit the water for 20 mins and then a local snack with water. After this you grab another bus to see Big Buddha. The Monastery and area surrounding was pretty.

This Lantau Tour was great in that we got to see a lot of amazing things - all must do items. However it was a bit disorganized though our tour guide, Becky, did the best she could. I think the group was too big - 30 some people and hard to keep track of everyone. Viator needs to divide this group into smaller groups, and then I think it would be a lot better. We did see Tai O and had a fun dolphin boat ride (and saw a dolphin!). We also got to go to Big Buddha and the monastery next to it which was so interesting. The gondola ride down was simply stunning.

The tour was very well organized. Eva, our tour guide, wrote us every little detail on WhatsApp even during the tour. The tour began with an easy train ride to then arrive at Tung Chung and ended there too. No problem at all, Eva made sure everyone had their tickets in place. The highlight of the tour was the dolphin boat ride. Beforehand we weren't sure if there would be any dolphins at all. But we saw 5-6 of them and it was absolutely breathtaking! The food offering in Tai O was rather "special". If you're an adventurous eater you'll like it – if not, we'd recommend taking your own snacks. Eva even went out of her way to warn us about the questionable pricing of souvenirs at the top of the Big Buddha and gave us better options to buy them. Very empathic tour guide!
