See that huge golden lion on our right? That’s Leo, the MGM Grand Lion! Let’s pause to admire all his majesty. 45 feet tall and weighing 50 tons, this lion is one of the largest bronze sculptures in the United States. It honors the real-life Leo the Lion, who roared from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer logo before the opening credits of every MGM film from 1957 until 2021! The new logo is actually CGI, though it still replicates Leo’s iconic appearance and, of course, that famous roar. Note: The tour is over 4 miles long, with more than 35+ audio stories, and takes about 1-2 hours to complete. Buy once, use for one year! Ideal for extended visits and return trips over the next 12 months.
The Las Vegas Strip
Did you know The Strip isn’t technically in Las Vegas? It actually exists in an unincorporated town called Paradise! See, this land was totally unincorporated all the way until 1950.

Have a nice tour with many different points along the Strip. Good explanation, not too long and easy to follow. Tip: keep the route of the walking route, otherwise it is difficult to navigate.

Go at your own pace, start wherever you like, listen to it as many times as you like. Interesting history and background information. Bring your ear buds to listen as the streets are busy!

First! We were in Las Vegas in August, the temperatures were always above 40 degrees, so staying outdoors was usually only pleasant for a short time. On foot you certainly need 2 hours for this tour, so I can not recommend in the summer. But we did the tour as a self-DRIVING tour. Due to the traffic situation usually only walking pace was possible, now and then we fast-forwarded or skipped a background information. The tour gave us a very good overview of Las Vegas. We also needed less than an hour for this self-DRIVING tour.

We ignored the starting location and began where we were staying. It was really hard to listen to the audio on the strip, so I read the text out loud. It was nice to have that flexibility But I expected more. I thought we'd go into more details and secrets. You could basically use Google to do this tour.

Even in the rain there is plenty of opportunities to shelter and continue at your own pace - great history and identifying sights

It was a great way to get all the information about the the strip. It might have taken us too long to find these things out by ourselves.
