This tour gave a very interesting and informative presentation on how chocolate was made. Also offered more opportunities to eat chocolate than most stomachs can stand. The Lindt tour was great and worth the time. However, having had to pay 2-3 times the normal admission price is terrible. I am assuming a bunch of people jump on the Lindt site and buy up available tour slots and resell them (at 2-3 times the original cost) to people unable to book them because these prebuyers grab so many of the open slots. I think this practice is despicable. I also suspect this review as I originally wrote it will never be published.

You must have a ticket to get into this facility. Plan ahead because they go fast. A week out or more should be fine. I liked the flexible entrance because when I travel we sometimes we get off schedule

The ticket experience was good and easy, however I regret purchasing my tickets here as there was some available at the museum and it would've been at least $50 cheaper. If you're going during the off season, double check on the website the day before or on the day of as they will release tickets. As for the lindt museum, it is not worth this much money. Other than the big whisk, which is before you scan the tickets so you can see it for free, they created a small exhibit about the history of chocolate and how it made its way to Switzerland. You don't really get to see the inside of the factory and the chocolate "tastings" are just small chunks of their chocolate bars. I would suggest going over to the house and spending time at the cafe or the gift store and take a photo with the whisk, all things you can do for free.

Gives you the flexibility to enter the museum at any time on the selected day. Entry was seamless. We all enjoyed the museum…especially the kids when it came to the chocolate tasting.

Self guided VR tour lets you go at your own pace. Unlimited tastings is diabetic hell. Nice walk from train station
