This was a great tour for our cruisers! We were picked up and dropped off at our airport. The guide provided water and provided a lot of knowledge of the country, culture, and history on our way to Sigulda. The bobsledding was a lot of fun and getting to see the upper track was unique. We enjoyed a cow in the town square of Sigulda. We enjoyed seeing old town Riga, as well.

So much fun and something different to do aside from the must see old town. My driver, Vadim, was wonderful and full of information about Riga and pointed out things on the ride to the bobsled. It’s about an hour out of the city and a fast ride on the bobsled track, all of which was cleared stated in the tour description. I thought it was totally worth it and like I said, a lot of fun.

Due to an issue with the bobsleigh, I was not able to get my two single-person rides. However, my guide did get me on a ride with a group, and as compensation took me to go on the nearby cable car and visit Turaida castle. Probably ended up being a better tour than what I originally booked for, and the guide was very friendly and helpful.

Vadim was a well informed and friendly guide. He was able to accommodate me as a solo traveler, which I appreciate, as I really wanted to experience the bobsled track. The ride down lasted in reality a short time, but it seemed to last forever. What a blast! I also got to see a little of the town of Siguldas, which was nice. The only thing that could have been better: I did not eat before this experience (based on recommendations that I read) so it would have been nice to stop somewhere for a bite to eat.

Having only 48 hours in Latvia, I had to go for the most memorable experiences and this was exactly what I needed - a great adrenaline kick (3,5 g), guided tour through the only bobsleigh track in Eastern Europe and a wonderful trip in the surroundings of Riga! The guide (Vadim) was highly knowledgeable about the area, culture and lifestyle in general, which is essential when having so little time on disposal in a new part of Europe. The bobsleigh tour itself felt highly exciting and safe at the same time, as the professional driver was very experienced and routinized. Highly recommended as an experience where you both get to learn a lot and that takes your breath away, regardless if you have a month, a week or a single day in this wonderful capital!

The service was really good as the driver picked us up from our hotel and afterwards drove us where we wanted to go next. The ride was also a great experience! However, we thought that the travel time from Riga to the Bobsleigh would be around 20 minutes but it turned out to be one hour long each way so it took a lot longer than expected. So that was a bit disappointing as that information was not available at the website. Also, there could have been more information on how to prepare for the ride as we didn't know if we should wear sportwear etc.
