  Had a blast, enjoyed the quick visit. NOT entirely sure how they make the Rum but who cares? it was great fun to be in the company of others seeing the history of the company. We enjoyed the free drink, and the guide was super fun and interesting, but it is not at all in depth. I am not sure what ingredients are even used to make Rum. Gift shop was amazing... spent lots of time and bought fun stuff there. do it.

  This was such a great experience. I suggest taking the ferry ride over which is the easiest and most scenic. Once you arrive to the island it is a 5 minute Uber to the distillery. Upon arrival you receive a drink ticket which did not disappoint. The tour was so much fun our guide was the best. You learn the history of Bacardi and at the end of the tour you receive Bacardi's top shelf sipping sherry

  The whole experience was worth the money and time. Learning more about the birth of Bacardi, their business development and the current products was, not only interesting, but a lot of fun. Adriana was so knowledgeable and personable. We had a great time!

• 5 Hours of Travel and Wait Time from Cruise Pier

  It isn’t that easy or inexpensive to get to Casa Bacardi. We weren’t given notice that a city-wide Ironman competition was taking place. A 20-39 minute ride stretched to an hour and we were nervous about making it back to the ship on time. The Catano ferry runs on the hour (at least on the Sunday we were there) so if you miss it, you have to ride miles out of the way to return to the cruise pier. The Legacy tour itself was really stripped down to the basics. More focused on selling alcohol in a party environment or in their gift store. That was a one and done tour. Don’t need to repeat it.
