On the Food Bike Tour, we'll cycle to two local food stops, spending about 40 minutes at each to learn their stories and enjoy behind-the-scenes experiences. Our food stops will be a breakfast sandwich with Bella Crusta in Canmore and a 3-course lunch at Waldhaus from the Fairmont. The menu is chef curated and the food portions are substantial (not tasters). As we bike between these locations, we'll take in views of the Mountains, Bow River, Banff, engine bridge , Canmore & Banff downtown, Mount Rundle, and spring creek.

What To Expect
Banff Legacy Trail
We will by cycling on the Legacy trail. The Legacy Trail runs along an old Seaboard Railroad corridor between Venice and Sarasota. Beginning at the Historic Venice Train Depot, the first third of the way to Oscar Scherer State Park is the most scenic and diverse.
Banff
We will cycle into Banff. Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta, located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains, dominate its skyline.

5.00Beautiful day! Beautiful ride! Great guide…Olivia 😉. Good food. Definitely a workout for us… mid to late 60s. Loved riding through Canmore and Banff. Nice trails.

5.00What a perfect day with our guide Olivia! We are in our mid to late 60s and knew it would be a good workout for us. This tour is wonderful. Great scenery, yummy food, comfortable and smooth riding e-bikes. The best part was Olivia… our own personal guide. Conversation was easy; I wanted to adopt her. She kept making sure we were close behind her, gave us clear instructions and descriptions of where and what we would be doing. She took pictures for us at each stop. She made our trip extra special. I’d do this tour again!
Spectacular views, great food and an amazing adventure. It’s a must do.

5.00Our guide, Arthur, was awesome and friendly, sharing local insights, and great conversation. A great trip around Canmore and Banff, with key stops to check out the incredible views and enjoy some delicious food. The ride between Canmore and Banff is an experience we’ll never forget, and the e-bikes made it enjoyable for everyone in our group. We loved this tour and will definitely check out other Food Bike Tours when we’re back in the area.
