This experience is a cultural and anthropological reading of Lima: identity, race, power, memory, social class, contradictions and resistance. All explained through sharp storytelling and great humor on the streets by professional guides and storytellers.
We do talk about history, but only as a tool to understand deeper cultural processes. Expect a critical deconstruction of official narratives, uncomfortable topics, and an honest look at Peru beyond the postcard.

5.00This was by far the best food tour I have ever been on! Our guide was super friendly, gave us a bit of history, culture, food background and of course he picked 8 amazing places to try special dishes. We had great time in small group and Bruce was entertaining, polite, kind and gave us lots of tips. 6 stars!
Even if you have done other tours where- YOU WILL NOT REGRET JOINING BRUCE AND INKA PRIDE TOURS

5.00Bruce led our tour which was so much fun that after spending hours learning the history we decided to also book his other tour where we got to experience the nightlife and bars of Lima. Let me add that I’m half Peruvian and having spent many summers coming here, I truly think his tour is the most unique and GENUINE that I have ever experienced and I do consider myself quite the walking tour connoisseur. His Inka Pride Tours are very carefully curated with the perfect mix of fun and learning. I highly recommend him and the company Inka Pride Tours - even if like myself, you already have done other tours …. I promise this was not like anything else I have learned about Peru. My husband and I already booked his other tours. 10/10 !!!!!

5.00The street food tour was one if the 1st things that we did once we arrived in Lima-BEST DECISION! It will be a great intro to the vast, delicious Peruvian cuisine. Bruce was fantastic! He made this tour so fun and took us to some really great spots. Not a tourist was in site, so they were definitely true local spots. Everything we tried was delicious! We learned so much about the cuisine, history, etc that we felt super prepared and had a better idea of the items on the menus. I highly recommend you book a tour with Bruce. This isn't one of those huge group tours run by a large company. It's really a small, local company, which offered a more unique experience. We enjoyed our time with Bruce so much that we also booked him for a tour of the historical center the next day. Both tours ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00Bruce, the guide, took us on a wonderful tour of the center of Lima. Bruce was extremely knowledgeable on many aspects of Peruvian life and during the tour gave us; historical, cultural and social information that really brought Lima to life. We visited many exciting places in the center and had a great explanation on everything we could see and Bruce was happy to answer any questions we had. The tour ended at a charming restaurant, that Bruce recommended, where we all tried various examples of delicious Peruvian cuisine as Bruce continued to happily answer our questions on life in Lima and Peru

5.00I had an amazing time on the free walking tour in Lima with Bruce! He’s incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about history and culture, and made the entire experience fun and engaging. You can really tell he loves what he does – his energy is contagious! I learned so much about the city, its past and present, and got some great local tips too. Highly recommended if you're in Lima!

5.00I did two tours with Amaru whilst in Lima, and both were excellent. Amaru is knowledgable, incredibly personable and extremely attentive (plus a good photographer if you want a picture taken!). Having done other city tours in Peru I felt like Amaru offers something that shows you more than just the typical tourist areas, and he’s not afraid to shy away from talking about the darker side of the city. I’d recommend these tours for anyone visiting Lima whether you’re solo, in a couple, or in a group.
