  We loved our tuktuk trip with Miguel. It is a great way to explore the city especially with young kids. As well to learn about the history of the city. Great communication with Miguel before the trip. Don’t doubt, do it! Thank you Miguel.

  We stumbled upon this tuk tuk tour completely by chance and it was the best experience of our trip. We had been climbing the hills of Lisbon all day and by mid-afternoon our teenagers age 13 and 15 were ready to collapse. As we walked by a tuk tuk on our way up a hill in Alfama we made a joke about maybe taking a tuk tuk. Our exhausted teenagers latched onto the idea immediately and pleaded to take a ride. We approached the tuk tuk to inquire how they operate and were greeted warmly by Damião. He explained all the different tours they offered and then created a customized one to accommodate what we wanted to see. We were nowhere near Belem, but we knew we wanted to taste the original Pastel de Belem while in Lisbon so he drove us from Alfama to Belem. Our ride exceeded all expectations. Damião was beyond amazing! He was born and raised in Lisbon and he has wealth of knowledge about the history of Portugal. He showed us so many things that we would have missed had we continued to tour on our own. He made many stops along the way to point out significant sights and take pictures and provided a richer overall experience. The tuk tuk itself was very comfortable with plush bucket seats. We loved our tour so much that at the end we inquired about hiring him again for a day trip to Sintra we wanted to take the following day. He was able to accommodate us and customized a perfect itinerary again based on what we wanted to see. The following day he met us near our accommodations and took us on a beautiful tour in a very comfortable Mercedes van. At the end of our tour he gave us recommendations for additional places to see and restaurants to try. Our chance meeting with Damião was the highlight of our trip.

  Miguel was a wonderful host and guide! His explanation of the sites gave a great look at the whole history of the city. He was funny, warm and very informative. If you get the chance, book a tour with Miguel. You’ll be glad you did.

  

  

  

• Perfect Way to Experience Lisbon!

  Our family of three did a 2 hour old town tuk tuk tour and enjoyed every minute of it. Our guide Damião was amazing and very knowledgeable with facts, stories, history and catered to our interests. We hit all the major locations including several beautiful viewpoints. I’d highly recommend this tour for getting around the hilly landscape and seeing what Lisbon has to offer! After our tour, our new local friend sent some helpful recommendations for the rest of our trip. Look no further and choose this tour!

  Damião was the most amazing tour guide we could have asked for! We got a great overview of the city, saw gorgeous viewpoints and learned so much about the history of Lisbon. Damião was extremely knowledgeable and had answers to all of our questions. He was friendly and personable and we left feeling like we had made a friend in this new city. He also gave us lots of recommendations that he so kindly sent us on WhatsApp so we could access them later on. This tour was the highlight of our trip and our trip to Lisbon would not have been the same without it.

  There are tour guides and there are TOUR GUIDES. On the last weekend of February ‘26, we took a tour of the old city of Lisbon with Reuben(hope I’m spelling the name right.) He was pleasant, attentive and super knowledgeable about his city. His information was detailed and interesting. What a great experience. We will be back for more tours. Many to choose from.   We booked the tour for the morning period and we liked it so much that we had lunch and made the other tour available in the afternoon. We stop at the main points: from the central stations in Baixa to the Tower of Bethlehem. All super well explained by Damião who is a super gentle, native guide, knows the whole history of Portugal and we explained with immense dedication and joy. We were in a family, our children have quite different ages: 12, 20 and 21 years. And everyone loved it. There is no worry vom the cold because it can close the transparent racks and there are blankets available. Certainly one of the coolest tours I did on trips because we were all together the whole time, the tuk tuk has the front seats facing the back so we could go listening to the explanations and talking the whole trip. I highly recommend!

  our tour guide was very interesting, he took us on a tour of the old town, we saw parts of Lisbon through the eyes of a local. he had interesting stories and is very funny. if you want to get to know the real Lisbon book this guy. an unforgettable experience and all recommendations. thanks for everything
