What To Expect
Favela da Rocinha
Participate in an experience in the country's largest favela. When we arrive, we will climb to the highest point of the mototaxi or van favela, enjoying one of the most spectacular views of Rio. The tourist will listen to reports from the local guides to understand the daily life of the community. You will learn about the history of the favela building, information about architecture, public services and cultural elements. Upon descending, we will pass through a laje where we will have the opportunity to observe a capoeira project and observe the landscape of the community. We'll walk down through more social projects, alleys and alleys. A gastronomic perspective of the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon and the Vidigal favela.

5.00In a city like Rio it is always better to rely on a person who knows where to go and knows the characteristics of this wonderful city .. Andrea and his team are definitely the best choice you can make! He accompanied us for 2 days in the main attractions: always punctual, nice and kind, as well as genoan to the core 😁! highly recommended the tour in the favela of Rocinha but also all the others, thanks Andrea, we will be back soon!

5.00Initially, the idea of entering a favela didn’t appeal to me, because I thought it was a bit risky; but once it ended I can honestly say that I felt 100% safe throughout the tour. The important thing is to have this kind of experience with an experienced guide, like Andrea in our case, extremely professional, very kind and able to immediately put us at ease. You can see that he knows the territory deeply, in fact every explanation was very interesting and well contextualized. Beautiful experience climbing the streets of the favela with motorcycles; very nice capoeira show; breathtaking views over the whole Rocinha from a terrace on which there is also a bar, so you can enjoy a good drink while admiring the scenery; and much more... As the icing on the cake then, the inevitable football match with the local kids on a very characteristic field. If I was asked to rate this experience from 1 to 10 I would give it an 11, hands down. Experience really recommended!
