I’m Andrea, an outgoing American who’s lived in Munich since 2012. After living in six countries, I bring a global perspective — and a deep love for Bavarian beer, culture, and connection.

We start in the heart of Munich at Marienplatz, then stroll through the Viktualienmarkt with a cold Tegernsee and the chance to grab a quick local snack.

Then the beer fun begins:

• Craft brewery for local Munich beers you won’t find back home

• Traditional Bavarian beer hall where we sit down and you can order dinner (not included)

• Hofbräuhaus to finish

You’ll hear fun local stories, ask anything, and enjoy a relaxed small-group evening that feels more like hanging out with a local than being herded through a tour.

Perfect for solo travelers, couples, or curious crews — a great mix of culture, conversation, and really good beer.

Viktualienmarkt

We will get a cold refreshing beer 'wegbbier' (included!) and go wander around the famous Viktualienmarkt food and snack market learning about Munich history and its culture of beer.

We'll visit a local craft beer favorite and get 1 beer included - choose from several different kinds.

What‘s Included

1 bottle Tegernsee beer, 1 pint Giesinger beer, 1 pint Hacker Pschorr beer included. Guided tour included. Not included: Hofbrauhaus beers, food in Viktualienmarkt or at beer halls.

The Andrea guide very friendly with lots of interesting information. It was a more authentic experience with a mixture of local places always ending in a tourist one. We loved the experience I recommend if you want something different from the usual tours and you drink a lot of very good beer

I wish I had this tour the first day I arrived. During the tour, we enjoyed beer four different ways. We were shown different shops for food and how to make yourself at home in a crowded Beer Hall. Basically, how to be a local. The tour guide was very personable and insightful about living in Munich. This was a very fun tour.

Andrea was great! It was just myself, my father-in-law and her on our tour. Starting your tour with a "wegbier" (beer-to-go) is pretty great. We walked around the market and we're able to ask questions about customs, etc. and get the local low-down. Awesome.

Fantastic personalised and interesting tour of Munich with a good selection of beers included. There were only 7 of us on the tour and it felt more like an evening out with friends. Andrea was a fantastic guide and we'd thoroughly recommend her tour!
