Our tour guide, Roman, was thoroughly well versed in so many facets of our day. We visited the Verdon Gorges first. Standing between the French Alps and the Gorge is humbling and an incredible pocket of nature showing off. Words do not do justice, go and enjoy! We visited the Quintessential village of Moustiers Saint Marie, so pretty and picture perfect. Tucked into the mountains with a stream and waterfall.... its everything you hope for in a storybook town. The village is know for the classic art of Faience, beautiful painted pottery, an art handed down from generation to generation. This village also houses a hidden gem, a designer from Marsielles with a dramatically creative eye for fashion. I wish I had brought an empty suitcase and done a full wardrobe refresh. Dont miss Marieve. The lavender fields are beautiful even in the off season! The L'Occitaine factory tour was informative and compelling. Their commitment to small local farms, pure ingredients, and charities have won my heart. I loved every minute, most especially work they are doing with the women of Burkina Faso, building businesses to sustain these families and create independence for the women. Beautiful day! So grateful and excited to share. Good and enjoy.

Our tour guide, Roman was knowledgeable and very friendly. We enjoyed our paddle boat ride through the Verdon Gorge and the breathtaking views along the way. The Moustiere Ste Marie village was simply charming. Our hike up the steps to the Chapel was definitely worth the majestic views at the top. The drive through the Valensole was spectacular even when the lavender wasn’t in bloom. The tour of the L’Occitaine Factory was fascinating and so happy to know the products I’ve been using for many years now are so ethically sourced and manufactured.
