Our group of friends had the incredible experience of being paired with Dan from Tartan Viking Tours. We first contacted a few tour companies and after working with Angelina on suggestions on how to best fit our time schedule we decided to go with Tartan Viking. We were then paired with Dan. Dan was a delight! Dan was also very knowledgeable about history and the perfect sites to see and how to take a great picture! But, beyond that Dan was funny and kind and our group felt comfortable and safe with him. We spent two weeks touring the UK and our group unanimously agreed that this was the #1 experience of our trip. We would absolutely come back to Scotland and do another experience with Tartan Viking Tours.

We had a wonderful tour over 4 days with Tartan Viking. Our tour guide Dan was absolutely amazing and we had some great chats, laughs, and saw some amazing places. Including ones we would never have known were there. Dan is a passionate Scotsman with wonderful historical information which we so greatly appreciated and loved. It felt more like friends driving around than just a tour. Highly recommend Tartan Viking and Dan as a guide.

We had the most amazing experience on our 5 day tour with Ross visiting Glencoe, Skye, Inverness and Edinburgh. The Highlands are amazing. We cannot recommend Ross enough! With knowledge about all the history of each location, he catered to everything we wanted to do and needed, and got us to amazing sites without any stress. We will absolutely be back and requesting Ross. And maybe Dan too! ;)

I can't say enough great things about our 10 day tour with Ross Nichol or to us Dragon Ross. Scotland is breathtaking but Ross with his knowledge of the country and history made it come alive. I've always loved history and I can't imagine a better guide than Dragon Ross, as we named him. I loved the special places he shared with us and the stories of fairies, giants and the green man. Over our 10 days a friendship grew and it was like leaving family when we said goodbye our last day. Thank you Ross for everything but especially for that special place in your family's history that I'll always remember.

We had an epic tour of the Highlands with Danny. He was a great driver and tour guide for the day! He took us on a great hike, and we toured Stirling Castle, Glencoe, a small church, and several other spots. We could have never have seen everything we did on our own. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

Ross was very knowledgeable about the history of Scotland. We learned so much from him. We’re hoping to return in a year or two with friends to do another tour. Very thankful that we were fortunate to have Ross as our guide!

Stop waiting for 'one day'- your life is happening now! Live it fully. Book the trip to Scotland. Trust me! It's worth it. Scotland is a captivating blend of dramatic landscapes, ancient folklore, and a rich history that feels both real and fantastical. From the mystical Isle of Skye (favorite) to the mysterious depths of the Loch Ness, the country offers countless locations where reality and legend seem to intertwine. For a creative learning experience I highly recommend Ross (Driver/Guide), he does a fantastic job teaching you the history and the folklore of Scotland. Not to mention, his positive and uplifting presence. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and in good hands the entire 6 days / 5 nights. The van was clean and in pristine condition.
