The Highlands guided day tour from Edinburgh was amazing. There was so much to see and too little time but it still was awesome. The spots were amazingly beautiful, even magical. Our guide, Connor, had tons of hilarious jokes and puns, but he also was patient, knowledgeable and had a clear diction, which was perfect for someone whose first langage is not english, just like me. Our bus was full but since we all were respectful of each other and of the sites we visited, it was a really great moment.

If you only have one day to discover as much as possible of the Highlands, this tour is the one you want to pick. Our guide and driver Connor was amazing: funny, patient and knowledgeable. Since English isn't my first language, I was a bit afraid I wouldn't understand everything but it was all very clear and Connor repeated himself enough for everyone to get all the information needed. The spots were as beautiful as I imagined, I'm very happy we got time to add some quick stops to our journey. If your budget allows it, I recommend that you treat yourself to the cruise on Loch Ness and visit Urquhart Castle too; it's definitely worth the price!

We took this tour at the end of October 2025. The weather was beautiful, sunny, breezy, and crisp!! The pick up location was about a 15 min walk from our hotel and was easy to find. Staff promptly received us and when the first bus was close to capacity they saw that there were six in our group and had us wait for the next coach so we could all stay together. This worked to our advantage as we were placed on a smaller coach and our guide was able to take us to some more intimate and close up historical locations. There were adequate stops along throughout the day for food, stretching, and restroom breaks. My daughter was able to feed highland cows, I was able to see my cute sheep, and there were many photo ops throughout the day. We took the cruise at Lochness and saw really how beautiful the highlands are. Loved this tour
