The perfect day of wandering London old and new with Carolina

5.00I told Carolina I wanted to wander the City to see things and places I had not seen before and she delivered. She found the Jewish quarter which is where we started. We used buses and the tube, though when she found out I liked the bus we shifted more to that. As we were on the bus we were going through an area that looked neat and I just said, Let's get off at the next stop. The wonder of this tour is you can do that, it is unstructured as you want it. Of course, wouldn't you know Carolina knew about Shoreditch and was able to guide me through markets and hip streets. We then had lunch at a great, not full of tourist, pub and then started to saunter South Bank, which I had never done. Ultimately we ended up spending time in Notting Hill and wandering in and out of shops and having a coffee before the time together ended. It was exactly what I wanted, even when I didn't know I wanted it. Carolina Rocks!!!!

5.00Carolina was a lovely lady, who personalised a trip for us and we didn't really know anything about London or where we wanted to go. We learnt allot about the history and catching a tube train. She was a warm & interesting guide, who answered all our questions and was just so lovely. Definitely recommend doing this type of tour and Carolina if you can get her. 1st class.

5.00My colleague and I had a free day in London on a recent business trip, so we signed up for a "Cakes and Chocolates" tour. Our guide Dan made it the perfect afternoon-- starting out sampling some of London's delicious chocolate shops and bakeries, while also showing us some interesting sights and history along the way. He customized the tour to our specific interests as we went along, and is a completely delightful and entertaining host. We learned a lot, ate (and drank) a lot, and saw things we never would have found on our own or in any travel book.

4.00We had a lovely tour of London. Both my husband and I had been here before so we weren't interested in going to the same tourist stops. My husband is very interested in WWII history so we asked our tour guide, Chris, to take us to places significant to that time period. He came prepared with his research and showed us around central London explaining things as we went.
