A MUST for LOTRs fans. Tristan is a fun, knowledgable guide who was quick to adapt to bad weather conditions so we got to visit all the stops without being in the pouring rain. Definitely recommend this tour!

Amy is a wonderful guide and hostess. Despite the inclement, wet and foggy conditions (not her fault!),her enthusiasm and knowledge shone through .A real trooper! A great and very enjoyable trip. The bad weather is the only reason not to give 5 stars..

Wonderful trip and fun facts from our guide Amy. Did a wonderful job of pointing out sights and relationship to the films. If you enjoy a peek behind the curtains of LOTR this is the trip to take.

We passed so many scenic sites, especially Lake Wakatipu. Our guide, Amy, is wonderful. She provided us lot of filming details, and had a good sense of humor. The tour overall was enjoyable.

It’s a while since we did this tour and have been meaning to leave a review for ages. One of us is a massive LOTR fan, 2 really like it and one not that bothered but had seen it. We ALL had an amazing time and it was money well spent. Our tour guide was lovely. I can’t remember her name but she said she used to work on yachts. Her driving was also good which is an important thing to me on a tour on windy roads. All of the stops were well worth it and well paced. Our guide had lots of information which was delivered in a fun way. The group size was good. For anyone considering whether to do this or another tour- I would recommend this one because they have access to an important location that other tours don’t. I recommend making sure you apply sunscreen before you board the bus because the first stop is the one with the longest stretch of outdoor time and the weather changes quickly.
