Awesome! My sister and I have never seen lord of the rings so you are probably wondering why would we go? This tour came highly recommended by multiple people who have been on it and it did not disappoint. Our guide was excellent! Gave us facts, behind the scenes info, and brought us to all the places they shot the franchise. At each film location he showed the exact scene that was filmed there for the franchise for reference. He even brought costumes for those who want to dress up. To have a guide who was passionate about this tour made it even better! Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous guide, her name was Amy. We were picked up from our hotel and drove along the coast road, seeing far more of the beauty of South island, stopping along the way at various key points. All the while Amy explained various things about the films and production. Going onto the farm that was used was a real bonus as other companies don't have access to this. All in all it was a very insightful and enjoyable visit and I learned a lot about the film and the production which was helpful when I went to Hobbiton later on my tour.

It was absolutely fantastic! Great scenery and our guide Tristan was so knowledgeable. They were able to take us onto private property for a view of one location no other tour can provide.

We had the best time with Dan. The pick up was a little confusing however Dan was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and had the best props. He also was a pretty good photographer. The views were all beautiful!

Dan was amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable and nerdy (like us!). He made the glorious scenery around Queenstown come alive with Middle Earth lore! My favorite part was the special access to the Mount Aspiring vista and dressing up with the rest of our fellowship on the tour! 11/10

This tour was awesome. Our guide Dan did a fabulous job with us. You could tell he enjoyed his job. Great job on the flip books to show us what scenes were filmed at each location. Great costumes to dress up in!
