5.00So interesting! Max was a great guide -- so informative and sharing lots of little tidbits. It's amazing how noncommercial the filming sites are -- you'd never know filming had occurred there -- there were no signs. There were some costumes and swords that you could wear/hold which made for some great photos. Beautiful scenery as well.

5.00Beautiful tour! This was our second time on this tour. The drive & stops through Glenorchy, dressing up in the Lothlorien forest, and the exclusive access to the Isengard location is what makes this tour one of my favorites. The props they have available to pose with are high quality and the guides really allow you/ encourage you to get into character, taking the time to snap the perfect photos for you! Solomon was our guide this time, he was very knowledgable and friendly! He also sang us an epic version of Misty Mountains on the ride back into town. Would definitely recommend this tour to any LOTR lover.
Fun half day tour with amazing views, great LOTR info, tea, cake and a spot of dressing up! What's not to like? :)

5.00Thoroughly enjoyable half day tour from Queenstown to Glenorchy and beyond into Paradise (and Isengard)! Amy, our guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun and made the experience really special with all her insights, not only from the official tour blurb but also little anecdotes that brought the whole thing to life! The group was a good size (10) and Amy created a a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this experience (for solo travellers like me or a group) as it is good value for money, the info is second to none and a final dressing up session with swords and cloaks added to the fun. Oh, and did I mention tea and cake?

5.00Tristan made this trip just amazing. Even tough the weather was very cloudy at the beginning Tristan changed the tour so that we have the best possible experience. His knowledge about the tolkien universum is just amazing and we highly recommend this tour! Thanks a lot for this great experience!

5.00One of the best experiences we’ve had in New Zealand so far. Amy was incredible - so knowledgeable, kind, courteous, and an excellent driver! She made our LOTR adventure fun, and the exclusive Arcadia access definitely makes this tour the best of them all. We do think it’s a good idea to take all the Glenorchy tours staff to Hobbiton for research purposes too ;)

5.00Great for LOTR fans of all degrees... mild interest to avid fan. Very informative about the area, behind-the-scenes tales and a journey through beautiful locations. Solomon was absolutely amazing! His knowledge and passion made the experience even more enjoyable, and the special touches of the "second breakfast" and audio journeys and entertainment made it a level above.

5.00We had an amazing time! Our tour guide, Dan, was so enthusiastic it made me feel right at home with my own enthusiasm. He was incredibly friendly, offering to take pictures and nerding out with my friends and me, and I love that he played us some music from the films on our drive back. Extra shout out for the wax seals on the merch envelopes too 😊 It was a splendid experience!! Thank you Dan!

5.00I am a big Lord of the Rings fan so I loved this tour but the scenery was stunning even if LOTR is not your thing. Dan was the best tour guide, really knowledgeable about LOTR, the local area and the local wildlife and really easy to chat to, we had a fab time on our tour group. If you are into LOTR there's also an opportunity to dress up and have fun with some replica weapons which our group definitely enjoyed!
