Sail on the Mekong and see beautiful scenery and mountains views, whilst you're cruising on river - you will have an opportunity to see local's life, fishermen and kids swimming in the Mekong. Your boat captain will let the boat floating down the river slowly which you can enjoy watching Sunset and views of Luang Prabang in the evening. After that you will dine at the local Hot Pot spot to enjoy cooking your own dinner and of course cold beer Lao. Yum!

What To Expect
Luang Prabang
Enjoy the best views of Luang Prabang at sunset on a private cruise on the Mekong River. Experience a traditional tuk-tuk ride, sail along the Mekong, and enjoy a delicious hot pot dinner. After getting picked up from your hotel by tuk-tuk, head to the boat jetty behind the Royal Palace and set sail for a 2-hour cruise along the Mekong River. Listen to your local guide explain the history of the Mekong and its residents as you sail. Drinks and snacks are available to purchase. The cruise is timed to catch the sunset, so you can relax on the boat terrace and take in views of the sun setting behind Luang Prabang and Chompet. You can also have your photo taken by the guide. After dusk, return to land and hop back on the tuk-tuk for a quick drive to your dinner venue, Sin Dat Hot Pot and Barbecue Restaurant. Have fun cooking your own meal for dinner as the locals do before getting dropped off back at your hotel in the evening.

Even with the clouds in the sky, the atmosphere on the river was calm and serene — the kind of quiet beauty that lets you really take in the surroundings. Our guide was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the culture and landscape. He made the experience feel personal and meaningful, not rushed or scripted. The hot pot dinner was fresh, tasty, and fun to prepare while floating on the water. It felt relaxed and intimate — a perfect way to enjoy Laos. 5.00We had a lovely trip up and down the river. It was very cloudy on the day we picked but wad nice to sit on the boat and just take in the river and its banks. The hot pot experience was fantastic and was definitely the differentiator. We went to a local place with no other tourists and sat with our guide, who was lovely, having a true Lao experience!

5.00Fantastic evening. The tour guide Nong was so personable, such a great personality and friendly. We had a great time on the river with the sunset, then she took us to an out of the way restaurant where we had a delicious hot pot dinner, with her teaching us through it. Both my husband and I would highly recommend this tour and this lovely tour guide!

5.00From starting to end it was an amazing experience, they care each and every thing from booking till dropping at airport. Specially mentioned my guide Oun is so polite and detailed. I haven’t feel solo any moment. Hope I will explore more soon at Laos.
