Longmen Grottoes
Longmen Grottoes— listed as the World Cultural Heritage, here you will see 2,300 caves and niches with over 100,000 Buddhist figures, 2,800 tablet inscriptions and 40 Buddhist pagodas. Driving time is included.
Shaolin temple—as the birthplace of Chinese Zen Buddhism and the cradle of Shaolin Kungfu, here you will see the monastery with 1,500 years history, the Kungfu show performance and over 240 pagodas from Tang dynasty. Round trip driving time is included.

5.00It was a great, absolutely interesting, tour. We learned a lot from Linda, who filled in for Spring at short notice. She gave us a lot of history with a lot of passion and told us some legends. An absolutely successful day. The tour is highly recommended.

5.005 stars without a doubt! My tour to the Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple was fantastic. Spring was excellent: friendly, informative, and a true expert. I really felt like his tour guide experience came in handy — we were able to get fantastic seats for the martial arts show due to his connections and he even offered to help me arrange my travel plans for the rest of my stay here. In addition, his car was clean and comfortable, and he brought snacks and water for me. I was amazed by the ancient sculptures at Longmen and the impressive Kung Fu at Shaolin. It’s incredible to me that people can even move like that! Spring provided a wonderful and highly enjoyable service. I really think Luoyang was a treat, and this was definitely a highlight of my time here. If you’re in China and are interested in history, buddhism, kung fu, or just seeing beautiful scenery, definitely take this tour!!!!

5.00I had planned a 24 night trip to China to visit Beijing, Datong, Pingyao, Xi’an, Luoyang, Chengdu, Zhangjiajie, Funghuang Gucheng & Shanghai. And in Luoyang, we had a long list of places we wanted to visit in just two days. I signed up "Spring" to be our guide for Luoyang. The transport arranged by Spring was excellent. We started early on both days at 0800 hours. The transport was at the hotel before time on both days. We visited: Longmen Grottoes Guanlin Temple (General Guan's Tomb) Luoyang Old Town (Laocheng) Luoyang Ruins of Sui and Tang Dynasty, Mingtang and Tiantang (moved it to the end of the day) Museum of Chariot and Horse Pits of Eastern Zhou Dynasty White Horse Temple Luoyang Museum Shaolin Temple Song Mountain (added by Spring) What I value most is that while completing our plan, Spring moved the visit to the Ruins of Sui and Tang Dynasty to the end of the day and we were able to view the spectacular lighting of which we had no idea. Also, he added the Song Mountain which was not on our list and was easily doable due to the proximity to Shaolin Temple. We are thankful to Spring for giving us excellent services during our stay in Luoyang.

5.00Took a day trip to Louyang from Xi’an. 2 of us do not like to go with big group tours so we opt this private tour with Spring. The tour was very very organise from pickup to depart at high speed train station. Spring knew I like history and culture and arranged a senior lady guide (Ms Wang) who is so amazing and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our tour very much and learnt a lot from her . Would like to visit Louyang again for more cultural trips. Highly recommended to take up this private day trip with Spring.

5.00We had an excellent trip to Shaolin Monestary and Longmen Grottos. Spring is a very knowledgeable and experienced local guide, and a very kind and attentive person. He answered our pre-trip questions promptly, picked us up on time. He adapted our itinerary to fit our schedule, and ensured we were on time for our train at the end of the tour. His English is good. Above all his explanations were insightful and interesting (unlike many other guide that just quote dozens of statistics). 5 stars well earned! Highly recommended
