Ngorongoro Conservation Area
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans vast expanses of highland plains, savanna, savanna woodlands, and forests. Established in 1959 as multiple land-use areas, with wildlife coexisting with semi-nomadic Maasai pastoralists practicing traditional livestock grazing, it includes the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera. The property has global importance for biodiversity conservation due to the presence of globally threatened species, the density of wildlife inhabiting the area, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and other animals into the northern plains. Extensive archaeological research has also yielded a long sequence of evidence of human evolution and human-environment dynamics, including early hominid footprints dating back 3.6 million years.

This was the best part of our vacation. Our tour guide was awesome. The driver we had was the best. He had over 30 years experience in the safari and he knew all the good spots for the animals. We got to see all the animals up close. The driver educated us on all the animals. We learned so much from him. I would recommend if you’re looking to do a safari tour to book with them, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I was in my last minute booking with my wife in Arusha. We stayed in Arusha for one month at one of the In-Africa Stay apartments. Later on we decided to go to Ngorongoro crater to see the ecosystem, wild animals and crater itself, our last minute booking was well attended by Emmanuel who was not even in Arusha but organized the trip well. The trip was okay from trip organization, our guide, Mr Abel elaborated everything from the landscape plus animals and had enough tolerance in the crater plus the time for our lunch on the picnic site in the conservation area of Ngorongoro. I'm glad that, I listen to Emmanuel's advice and choose Ngorongoro Crater plus the service from In-Africa Stay and safari with nice cars and marvelous tour guide who showed and elaborated everything in Ngorongoro plus understanding our interests.
